Date night

This imagine was requested by Hdemeritt13 hope you like it!! It's carrying on from the Heather and Zak imagines, last time it was Sydnie's first birthday and they found out they are having a second child..

I'm now 6 months pregnant with mine and Zaks second child, we are so excited for our baby to arrive, Sydnie will be a great big sister, she's been asking about the baby, when will she be a big sister and telling us everything she's wants to do as a big sister. Zak has been so supportive, he's made sure to come to all the baby scans, he's got me my weird snacks as I have the weirdest cravings, one was a strawberry sandwich, not jam or anything, literally strawberries in a sandwich, even he was like "oooookk". But I'm so happy I have him, he's more than amazing, and he is the love of my life!

I'm counting down the days until this little one is here, 3 months to go, and it couldn't go any slower.

"Babe, will you go on a date with me?" Zak asks me at random. We are in the kitchen having some lunch.

"Err, ok, what about Sydnie though?" I ask whiling watching her feed herself.

"My mom can babysit for a few hours, come on honey, just because we're parents to nearly 2 kids, doesn't mean we can't have any us time, let me take you out tonight" He begs.

"Ok sure, I'd like that, sounds great" I say smiling at him. He takes Sydnies plate as she finishes attempting to eat, he walks past me a kisses my cheek.

"I love you Heather" He says.

"I love you too" I say and we smile at each other.

"I'll call my mom and get her to come over for about 6 ish" He says.

Date time

It's nearly 6, me and Zak are smartening up for our date night, all he's told me is that we're going out for dinner and then to see a movie I think but I'm not sure, I know about dinner though.

Ding dong

"Honey will you get that, it's probably your mom" I shout to Zak as he's wherever in the house. I hear the door open.

"Hey mom, thanks for coming on short notice" I hear Zak say.

"It's no problem, where is my gorgeous granddaughter?" His mom asks.

"In the living room, her bedtime is 6:45, unless she falls asleep before then" He tells her. I finish getting ready and go downstairs.

"Hello Heather" Zaks mom says as she's says me.

"Hello, thanks for coming over tonight" I say giving her a hug.

"It's no bother, aren't you looking bigger by the day, I can't wait to be a grandmother again" She says.

"Anyway babe we better go now, Sydnie has eaten so it's literally just bedtime for her" Zak says.

"When will you be back roughly?" His mom asks.

"Probably around 9 or 10, Heather doesn't like late nights out now we're parents" Zak says.

"Ok enjoy" She says. We get our coats on and Zak grabs the keys. We get in the car and Zak starts driving.

"Wow, it's quiet now" Zak jokes.

"But we love the noise" I say.

"You know how hard it is to keep the gender of the baby secret from everyone?" He asks.

"We can tell everyone if you want, I just want our girl here already" I say and giggle.

"It's ok, I don't mind, same, I wanna hold her so bad, just 3 more months" He says.
