Stalker Alert

Nicks POV

I am going for a run through the woods, for exercise, each step I take, there's either a twit snapping or a bunch on leaves crushing. I'm listening to music with the earphones in, my music strapped to my armband, in my own world. I love exercise and working out, gotta keep fit. Although I should probably do it at a different time, not at nearly 10:30pm, the woods are a little creepy at night time.

As I'm running along, nearly injuring my ankle a few times but it's ok, I start hearing screams, cries for help, at first I shake it off and think it's my music as it's a new song.

'SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP ME!' I hear in the distance. That's not my music! I start looking around me for any signs of anyone, I see nothing so I continue running.

Suddenly I see something in the distance, a figure, a person.

'HELP ME PLEASE SOMEBODY!' I hear again, this time it's coming from that person. I pick up my speed and run over to the figure, as I get closer I realise it's a lady. I take my earphones out and get to her.

'Hey are you ok?' I ask in concern from behind her. She jumps in shock and turns to look at me and I am taken aback by her beauty, blonde, beach wavy hair, fern green eyes and light skin, she's also wearing glasses.

'Woah!' She almost screams.

'Sorry! I didn't mean to scare you' I say quickly. All she does is let out a cry. 'What's wrong?' I ask, I want to help her.

'I'm being followed, I'm so scared, I've been dealing with this stalker for a while now, please help me!' She begs in tears.

'It's ok, I'm going to help you, I won't let anyone hurt you I promise' I assure her. I want to help her.

'Thank you' She mumbles as she dries her tears.

'Come on, the woods isn't the best place to be at this time, I'll get you out of here' I say as I put an arm around her. We start walking out of the woods and I eventually get her back to my place.

'Where are we?' She asks a little unsure.

'We're at my place, you'll be safe here' I assure her. 'Take a seat' I say pointing at the couch. We both sit down together.

'I don't even know your name and I'm in your house, it's a really nice house' She compliments.

'Thanks, my name is Nick, Nick Groff, what's yours?' I ask. She does have a good point, we're strangers and I just brought her home.

'Aurora Gibbons' She whispers.

'That's a lovely name, it's nice to meet you, Aurora' I say with a smile which makes her smile for the first time since I've seen her.

'You too, thanks for helping me' She smiles.

'You'll be safe here, you can stay the night if you want, perhaps you'll feel better tomorrow and we'll go from there' I say.

'Sounds good to me' She says.

5 Months Later

Auroras POV

'Hey Nick' I smile as I answer his phone call.

'Hey babe, how are you?' He asks.

'I'm good, I'm actually on my way to see you now, are you in?' I ask.

'Yeah sure, come over' He says.

'What did you call for?' I ask. He called me.

'Just to see how you are, can't a guy be cute towards his girl like that?' He asks. Yeah, we've been dating for 2 months now, he helped me that night and we stayed in contact and got to know each other more than we expected and saw each other a lot, then he finally asked me to be his girlfriend, I said it took him long enough, I have been attracted to him since that night but we waited a few months to see if our feelings toward each other were real.
