Day At The Park

Sierras POV

Life hasn't been easy for the last year, I was engaged and pregnant, I was happy, and I thought my ex fiancé was too, until I found out he was cheating on me while I was carrying his baby, I did what most people do and threw him out, I was about 3 months pregnant then, later into my pregnancy I got back in contact with my ex and asked him if he wanted to be in his child's life, I'm not gonna repeat what he said but he very rudely said he wasn't gonna be in the child life as he knew it wasn't his, even though it is his child, so I throughly screw him, I don't need him and neither does our child. Since then I have given birth to a perfect beautiful baby girl, I named her Aubrey after my grandmother who I was very close to, and she is amazing, apart from all the crying and sleepless nights, I wouldn't ask for anything to be different, if her dad doesn't want to be in her life then he won't be, and I'll explain it to her when she's old enough to understand or starts asking about him. Seeing as I have nothing to do today, I've decided it would do us both best to get some fresh air for a few hours, I'm going to take Aubrey to the park, I know she's only a few months old but I can hold her on the swings and whatnot. I put her in her buggy and start walking there, it's not far away, 10 minute walk.

Zak's POV

"Parker, come on buddy, I've got an idea, let's put your trainers on and we can go to the park for the day" I say as Parker watches TV. I'm a single dad and Parker is my son, he is almost 2 years old now. I had a silly one night stand, went out and got drunk, woke up next to a woman and we were both naked, it didn't take a second to work out what we had done, after that we apologised for what happened and went our separate ways. Apparently I gave her my number at some point as she called me and told me as soon as she knew she was pregnant, she told me she didn't want him as she couldn't be a good mother so she was gonna put him up for adoption, as soon as she said that I made up my mind and told her I'd take him. She asked if its what I really wanted, I'm not gonna lie I never thought I'd be a dad, I didn't even know if wanted to be a dad, but in that moment my mind changed, I told her I wanted to be a dad to my child, I went with her to the scans, it was a little awkward seeing as how it happened and we didn't know each other, I was there at the birth, she said she didn't want anything to do with our child and it was best for him so I thanked her for letting me have him, it took me a week to decide to name him Parker, I don't know why that name, I just liked it and looked at him and thought he looks like a Parker.

"Daddy come on let's go" Parker says from the stairs.

"Oh right sorry mate, let me just go and get snacks and we can take them with us" I say. I was in my own world then. I go and put some snacks in a bag and then l put Parkers trainers on, I get his buggy in case he doesn't want to walk back or something and I put the snacks at the bottom.

"Are we going now?" He asks.

"Yeah, be patient son, we are going now" I say. We walk to the park.

Sierras POV

I have just got to the park with Aubrey, I put her dummy in her mouth, I take her out of her buggy and carry her to the swings, I sit on one that's free and start swinging slowly, just rocking. I look over her and see she's smiling.

"Are you enjoying this sweetie?" I ask as she smiles. I look around at all the other people playing and see I little boy come running over to us and try climbing on a swing.

"DADDY!" He shouts.

"No Parker that swing is too big for you, let's go to the small swings" A man says. I guess that's daddy then.
