I'm Your What?

"Dammit." He said as he rubbed his temples. "How am I supposed to explain this to all of them out there?" He groaned and I found it amusing.

"Care to explain what's got your panties in a twist?" I asked, trying to hold in my laugh. He simply glared at me but I crossed my arms and waited for him to speak. He leaned up against his desk.

"Shizuka was not royalty, much like how Yuki is even though she's my distant cousin." He shivered at the thought. "So, with that being said, she wasn't entirely important to the vampire society when it came to other pure bloods and aristocrats, which are what all of those with me today are. However, with that being said, she still played a part in the lives of our species. All pure bloods must reproduce, because the only way to get a pure blood is to mix two other pure bloods." He said and I nodded.

"Okay but what does that have to do with me?" I asked, wondering why he was telling me that.

"That's what I was getting to. Shizuka never had any children, her fiancé was not eligible for her to be with because he was a borderline level E. They killed her fiancé before she could have a child. However she still needed an heir. An heir, in the vampire sense, is a human chosen by a pure blood to take over their status. When picked to be an heir, you are bitten and you take on features of the vampire that bit you. That shows that you are in fact, their heir."

"Still not helping me here." I said and he let out an exasperated sigh.

"What I'm trying to tell you is, that you are her heir and while you aren't a pure blood, you're just as powerful." He rubbed his temple and took a breath before speaking again. "You're a knight, the one that leads the battles and shit in the medieval times. But here, with vampires, it just means that you are destined to marry the vampire next in line... For the throne.. No matter what the circumstances are." He stated, cringing at every word. I took a minute to think about it. "You're my fiancé."

"Wait. I'm your what?" I asked, the shock washing away quickly and turned into desperation. "No, you're just fucking with me. There is no way that I'm your fiancé. You're the fucking prince of all vampires! And you're a dude!" I said and he raised a brow.

"What's me being a dude got to do with it?"

"You're probably not gay!" I exclaimed, probably being a little too over worried. I composed myself as quickly as possible. "Look, I can't do this. I'd never be able to do that anyway, and I know you wouldn't be able to handle this." I said, motioning to myself. He simply raised his eyebrow.

"Do you think you're the only one freaking out about this? Do you know what this means for me? It means that I'm going to have to carry a child. That's going to be fucking scary." He said and I simply looked at him, leaning back kind of like the way sassy girls do.

"And how the hell you think a baby gonna get in there?" I asked and he face palmed. "Uh-uh, nope. Nada. No sir, I am not about to do the do with you. I can not do that, it would not be a thing I would live through." I said shaking my head and my hands around at the same time.

"And you would also be king of vampires." I groaned so loudly that the people on the city limits probably heard.

"You know I hate vampires!" I whined childishly.

"That's a bit hypocritical." He stated judgmentally.

"Excuse me, I didn't choose to be this now did I? Besides, I can't be a king. That's not even an option for me. Straight up no!" I said and then I got closer to him so I could talk quietly enough that they wouldn't hear me outside. Barely audible, I spoke in his ear. "I don't think you're followers would be okay with me putting my panic disco stick in your pilot port." I said, and I didn't miss the blush that rose up on his face.

"I'm going to kill you for that." I heard from outside the door and I couldn't help but chuckle.

"So would you like to meet my parents?"

"I am definitely not going to meet your parents. We're not engaged."

"Zero, come on my parents are waiting inside." Kaname persisted and I rolled my eyes as I adjusted the strap on my duffel bag. The castle was huge to say the least, and I was already feeling overwhelmed. I felt extremely underdressed since it was so fancy everywhere I turned. I was wearing a simple skinny jeans and button up with the buttons half down. I didn't smell a lot of vampires so that was good. As soon as I walked into the castle, I seen them.

His parents. I seen where he got his looks from. Both of his parents were beautiful specimens, sadly I knew why. Pure bloods were gifted with beauty, as a sign of appreciation from the gods they say. I didn't believe that shit for one second. His mother smiled warmly at me and his father seemed to give me a kind face as soon as they seen me. I walked up to them, since Kaname was standing next to them. "Mom, dad, this is my uh fiancé. Zero Kiryu, Shizuka's heir." He said.

"Unwilling to all." I said with a smile as I shook their hands. His father laughed a hearty laugh and I tried to hide the fact that I was confused as to what he was laughing at.

"Shizuka, ey? Well, as long as you take care of my son." His father said. "And as long as you succeed me well." He winked and I scratched the back of my head.

"Yeah you'll have to give me pointers I suppose." I said and he nodded. I was still debating if I wanted to go through with this or not. I mean, I wasn't king material. I wasn't father material, husband material, hell I wasn't good for anything other than hunting vampires and making sarcastic remarks. Kaname knew I hadn't made a decision just yet, and I knew he wasn't too happy about this either, but there was a deadline for him.

I knew about that, I'd read about it in the files I had to type once. He had approximately three years after he turned twenty-one to be married and start a family, and his three years were closing down quickly. I just hoped that he didn't make a mistake with who he thought I was.

This, is shit. I'm about to pass out at the moment lol. It's 2:39 AM and I didn't even know it xD thanks for reading happy 4th of July!!!
