Chapter 8.

"I see you finally made it home,"my mama said as I walked in the house.

"Yea,"I said kissing her cheek.

"What's this one name?"she asked.

"Huh?"I asked.

"The girl, you've never been on a date this late,"she said.

"Her name is Toni,"I admitted.

"Toni who?"she asked.

"Braxton why?"I asked.

"Isn't that the Reverend's daughter down by Booker T. Washington?"she asked.

"Uhh Yea,"I said confused.

"You need to leave that one alone,"she said.

"What's wrong with her?"I asked,"You don't trust her or something?"

"No, I just don't trust you with her,"she said.

"That's not right mama,"I laughed,"I'm not going to hurt her."

"Physically, but I'm afraid of you hurting her emotionally,"she said,"She's too good of a person."

"Well, I'm going to bed,"I said.

"Mmhmm goodnight,"she said with an attitude.

I walked up to my room and just laid in the bed. Tonight was a good night despite the fact that I didn't get that kiss I wanted but I will in due time. Just wait on it because I like a challenge and after that one kiss with me she might even get more than that afterwards. She just playing hard to get.

It's the weekend and I don't have anything to do. I really just want to chill today with who? I'm still deciding. Let me call a few homies.

"Hello,"one said.

"What's up D, what you doing?"I asked.

"Nothing just woke up actually,"he said.

"That's cool, man what's going on tonight?"I asked,"I heard about a party the other day."

"Oh um Ciara brother having one,"he explained.

"So what you down?"I asked,"Ain't nothing else to do."

"I'm down let me call Ant and see about him, I'll text you,"he said.

"Alright let me know ASAP,"I said before hanging up.

Toni: Goodmorning Kenny

Me: What's good? 😏

Toni: Nothing much at church setting up for my Dad's program tomorrow.

Me: So what made you text me first? 👀

Toni: I was bored Bighead 😞
