Chapter 10.

"I don't know where I want to go,"she said.

"How about we just ride and figure it out?"I suggested.

"That's cool but it's after midnight and I don't think anyplace is open,"she said.

"Let's just ride,"I said pulling off and leaving her neighborhood.

We were riding around Atlanta just looking around, talking and laughing just having a decent time until I stopped at a red light.

"I love this song,"she said turning up my radio singing,"Yo body on my body babyyy, I'm about to catch a body in here babyyyy."

"You listen to this kind of stuff?"I asked curious.

"I mean I'm not a grandma Kenny,"she said sarcastically.

"I know I just thought you might of lived under a rock,"I said.

"Very funny you tried it,"she said making me laugh,"Where are we going?"

"No where in particular but we can stop right here,"I said pulling over in a parking lot.

"Kenny there's no one here,"she said sounding scared.

"Well it is almost 1 am Toni,"I said laughing.

"Right,"she agreed as if that made a lot of sense.

"You scared?"I asked.

"I mean what if some stranger come and rob us or something,"she said.

"No one's going to rob us Toni,"I said,"I don't think."

"You don't even know see we need to go,"she said making me laugh.

"I'm kidding, you're safe with me baby,"I said.

"I'm not your baby Kenny,"she said with a playful attitude,"I see you've gotten a little too comfortable with that word."

"Well you're in my car with me on a weekend like you are,"I mentioned.

"Whatever,"she said.

"Why you don't want to be my baby?"I asked placing my hand behind her seat.

"Why do you want me to be?"she asked back.

"Because you're fine,"I said.

"Really?"she asked,"That's the only reason for me to be your baby? Because I'm attractive?"

"Calm down it's not like I asked you to marry me,"I laughed.

"It's not funny because I really lik..."she started.

"Nahhh finish what you were about to say,"I laughed at her trying to cover up what she was about to say.

"I wasn't about to say anything,"she lied.

"You really likeeeee me,"I laughed singing like a little kid,"Toni likeeeees me."

"Stoppppp that slipped out,"she laughed,"What I meant to say was I really dislike you."

"Nahhh nahhh it's okay,"I assured getting closer to her,"You know why?"

"Why?"she asked.

"Because I really like you too,"I said leaning in for a kiss.

"Kenny,"she moved back as soon as I pecked her lips.

"What?"I asked trying to continue,"You don't want to kiss me?"

"It's not that,"she said.

"I mean I'm single, you single,"I tried to reason.

"I know it's,"she stumbled,"Can I be honest?"
