jungkook had left for japan the next morning with his members, as planned.

jungkook: morning, eunnie. you're probably asleep, but i just wanted to let you know that i'm heading to the airport right now. love you <3

little did he know that ji eun was already awake, getting ready for work.

ji eun: morning! have a safe flight! bring me back candy~ love you!

she locked her phone and headed out the door, ready for a day's worth of work.

"welcome!" she said, smiling at the new customer.

"oh, yeah. good morning." he said, as he took off his hat and smiled back. he was a middle aged man, slightly round, but he had a large nose and a very light voice.

"what would you like this morning?" she asked, preparing the register.

"i'll get a caramel macchiato. go easy on the ice." he said.

"sure." ji eun grabbed a cup and a marker. "may i have your name?" she asked.

"bang si hyuk."

and the cold feeling returned to ji eun all over again.
