When I heard the door shut I got up and dressed. When I head down status I expect a mess in the kitchen. But the counters and sink was clean. Even the drain board, I thought amazed. Well I head to my utility room too wash. I fold and put clothes some clothes away that was left in the dryer. When I was done with the clothes I sit on the couch and turn on music. My phone goes off.
Clay:do you need anything
Me:yes
Clay:and that is?
Me:chocolate dip
Clay:for your strawberries
Me:yes
Clay:okay I'm on my way
I doze off for what felt like an hour. When I wake I here someone up stairs. And I realize it could be the people that did the crime. I start too worry and tip toe to the kitchen and grab a butcher knife. I slowly creep up stairs and list too where the noise is coming from. I listened and heard someone in the bathroom. I lean against the wall beside the door. The door opens and I turn and hold the knife to the persons throat. "Whoa chill Lizzy, it's just me," Clay said his hair dripping. I blink a couple times and shake my head. "I'm so sorry Clay I thought you were the people that killed my father," I said with tears in my eyes. "Liz it's okay, it's good your thinking like that," he said consoling me. "Huh why is it good," I ask stupidly. "Well they can be after you, I went and turned in the disc of the murder, they are looking into it," he said, looking into my eyes, "but I will let nothing happen to you I promise." I look down blushing and notice him in a towel, "ahh...ummm your in a towel," I say pointing. "Hehe I'll be back," he says as he blushes and closes the door. I turn and head down stairs. I grab my phone it's 3:28 so I decide to make dinner. "CLAY ARE YOU STAYING THE NIGHT AGAIN," I yell at him. "DEFINITELY I NEED TOO JUST IN CASE THINGS GO SOUTH I CAN GRAB YOU AND GO," he yelld back. "ALRIGHT IM MAKING DINNER," I yelled while getting pots. A few minutes later Clay come into the kitchen and started helping with the cooking. He made the sauce while I done the noodles and garlic bread. When everything was done I grabbed two cups and fixed drinks. We brought all the food to my barely used dining room. I sat down with an empty plate in front of me. Clay passed the bowl of spaghetti after he was done with it and I fixed my plate. We start to eat and make small talk. "Where did you sleep," I ask curiously. "On the couch," he replied. "What that couch is not comfortable," I said shocked. "It okay, I'm alright with it," he shrugged, "as long as your safe it's fine." I feel warmth flood in my cheeks, "oh okay then, if you ever need too my bed is open." I look at my plate then take a quick glance at him. He was looking at me smiling that smile that bores in my heart. Why do I feel that way, I thought. Then I happened.

It was covering his beautiful face. "I listen to my mom she talks about the feelings she had toward my dad," he starts, "when my dad leaves for work she goes on about how much see messes him then when he gets home she goes on about the love in their life keeps them together." He sternly looks at me in the eye, "Lizzy I feel the same feeling toward you as my mom to my father." I look down and feel something in my chest burn, I look up in his sea green eyes and he breaks the stare with a blush. He grabs my hand and pulls me in a hug. While I'm encased in his strong body my head resting against his chest I listen too his steady heart beat. "Lizzy I love you," he says into my hair. I pull away and grab his face pulling him to my lips. He smelt of pine and he was so warm. I pull away, "Clay I love you and I will always love you no matter what happens." He looks at me with tears in his eyes. "And you know I have too leave," I say he nods his head and kisses me once more.
