Ok, so as I've said before, the script for the movie was absolutely terrible and here's why:

IT MAKES NO SENSE!!!

Half the time, someone will say something and it will be totally dismissed or ignored. Or it will just be really confusing or inaccurate to the original show.

Remember in my Zuko chapter where movie Zuko had said, "Bring me all your elderly!" and he didn't look at them? Well, Aang came out of the tent and agreed to go with Zuko on the condition that he would leave everyone else alone.

This sounds fairly accurate until you ask yourself, why would Zuko want to take Aang at all? He's a kid and Zuko expected the Avatar to be old. In the show, Zuko knew Aang was the Avatar because he did some airbending.

In the movie, he didn't bend at all in that scene! After they took Aang on their ship and left, Zuko and Iroh did some stupid test where they placed water, a candle, and a rock in front of Aang to see if they reacted to his presence or something. This apparently was how they've been testing people to see if they were the Avatar. Its completely ridiculous! All Aang would have to do is airbend and that would be that!

Also, several times in the movie, Aang is fighting some Fire Nation soldiers or escaping and I'm yelling, "Why aren't you firebending at him? He's getting away!" Then I remember that FIREBENDERS CAN'T MAKE THEIR OWN FIRE IN THIS STUPID MOVIE SO THEY'RE ALL USELESS!!!!

Next thing. So Aang and his friends were captured by Fire Nation soldiers (because Aang didn't use his airbending skills for some reason) and they were taken to an Earth Kingdom village where the soldiers held earthbenders captive. Aang, Katara, and Sokka convince them to fight and YAY they are freed.

Its so stupid. I seriously think the people in this movie are total idiots. In the show, the captured earthbenders are taken to a metal ship in the middle of the ocean so they can't escape or fight back, since there's nothing for them to bend (until they are given coal).

In the movie, the earthbenders are held captive in a village ON THE GROUND! DIRT!!! Which means THEY ARE SITTING RIGHT ON TOP OF THE STINKING ELEMENT THEY CAN BEND!!!!!!! The earthbenders could easily fight back and escape, but NOOOOOO! They sit like stupid ducks until they are given a sappy speech about hope when they could have left ages ago!!!

I don't know who's worse, the Fire Nation for putting earthbenders on dirt or the earthbenders for not bending.

Ok, so you know there's a lot of pointless narration by Katara in this movie. When they reach the Southern Air Temple, some narration says something like, "Aang took us to the place where he lived..." Idk. Its was something like that. Add then TWO SECONDS LATER, Katara asks, "Do you mind telling us your name?"

?????????????????

OK, STUPID GIRL! You just said his name in your narration AND why the heck would you go off with someone if you didn't know their name????? This script is ridiculous.

Here's a scene in the movie that was made up by M. Night Shyamalan himself. I know this because it wasn't in the show. So, Zhao ran into Zuko and Iroh and he invites them to a feast in their honor with his army. Zhao holds a toast and says, "To Prince Zuko! As you know, the Fire Lord has banished Zuko and won't let him return until he captures the Avatar. Also, in his banishment, Zuko is not allowed to wear the Fire Nation armor so he is nothing more than a child playing dress-up."

Ummmm, what? How does that make any sense? Why would anyone give a toast like that? Also, the real Zhao would never hold a feast in honor of Zuko. He hates him! Zhao becomes a threat to Zuko because he wants to capture the Avatar too, which does happen in the movie but it doesn't explain why this scene would take place.

It shouldn't of taken place because it WASN'T IN THE SHOW in begin with!
