They Say
"They say they don't know who I am.
That nobody's seen me before.
But what they don't know- I've always been here:
I am myself to the core."
"They say that I'm not what I seem.
That I'm smart, quirky, and true.
But what they don't know- It's quite simple, really:
I am just like you."
"They say that my talents amaze
The ones that are unsuspecting.
But what they don't know- I just do it.
Playing, scoring, practicing."
"They say that my head's in the clouds,
That I'll never go anywhere.
But what they don't know:Inside my head,
I have been everywhere."
"They say that I'm not really there.
That I'm an invisible being.
But what they don't know: it's only a spell.
They just don't see what I'm seeing."
"They say I am one with myself.
But what they are saying is true.
But what they don't know: if you do what I do,
One with yourself be you."
They really don't know what they're saying.
They really don't know what they do.
But what I do know is this:
I am me, who are you?
