Never Gone

There was something about that day.
I don't remember quite what it was.
It now drives me insane.
What was it?
I can't believe I forgot what feels
like the most important thing in my life.
Remind me, oh, someone remind me, please!
I can no longer stand it,
not knowing what it was.
I feel so lost now
in its absence, so alone.
What could it have possibly been?
I must know, I simply must know!
Anything to help me remember.
How could I have forgotten?
