The school was luxurious to say the least. Iron gates protected the front, gargoyles on either side facing out. Trees lined the driveway to the academy. Tricia had found out the girls name was Katie. As Katie kept talking about the school's rules and dress code and so forth. Tricia spaced out watching the trees, until she heard the door open and the two climbed out, making their way through the front entrance and into the main foyer.
She was lead on a tour of the old house. It was a mansion that had been turned into a school. Very few people went to the school for many reasons, but Tricia refused to be deterred from her dream school.
Katie showed her to her private room and laid the admission book on the white desk. "Dinner will be served at seven. I'll come find you ok?" Katie said sweetly and excused herself to let Tricia get settled.
For all the excitement, she felt so numb. She sighed and laid on her bed, her things left packed up. Not that she had much to bring with her anyways.
She happened to turn her head and look out the window. Her eyes catching the castle up in the mountains. She stood and walked to her window. Her eyes glued to the castle.
It was as though something was calling her to it. Suddenly the image of her dancing with a man at a ball passed over her vision. He had no face. But his hair was black and shaggy long. The two danced to classical piano music, laughing and smiling. He had fangs like a vampire, but his skin was soft and warm. Not at all how she imagined. It was as though the ball was made to produce peace amongst vampires and humans. She was still human, but he was not.
The image blurred with a knock on her bedroom door, and Katie giggling. "Wake up sleepy head" she was knelt before her new friend and smiling. Tricia looked up and hadn't realized she had curled up and slept until dinner. She wiped the drool from her nap on her sleeve. And stood up. Casting one last glance to the castle. "Oh... That's Valentine castle. They say that the Valentine family were vampires. And there were three boys. The eldest was a Vladimir Valentine. The middle was a Victor Valentine. And the youngest was a Vincent Valentine. History has it all three were very handsome and each had a bride to be." Katie seemed to sigh dreamily as she spoke on.
At dinner the name Vladimir stuck in Tricia's mind. She sat playing with her food, wondering if the guy she danced with in her dreams was Vladimir Valentine. Katie sat talking to her friends as Tricia faded in and out of the conversations, chiming in when spoken to.
Soon after dinner, Tricia sat in her room. Her window open and her sitting in the window sill. The moon cascading over her, and her reading her book. Every so often taking a glance at the castle. The day had been long, and she thought about her family at home. She set her book down and pulled her drawing pad from a box that read art supplies. She drew the mysterious vampire from her dreams. His lips she remembered her pouty but soft looking. His hair covered his eyes in a shadow. And his fang looked sharp amongst his other teeth. He seemed so unafraid to show his true self to her.
She drew two more pictures, using her imagination to the best she could, she drew the mysterious vampire from different angles. One image of him sitting next to a pond. But she refused to draw his eyes. Keeping them under shadow.
*at Valentine castle*
Vladimir paced his room, his throat burning for the sweet taste of blood. He decided to escape the house and go on a hunt. Killing a bear and draining it of its life. He stood shirtless over the bear's lifeless body. Sighing as his butler came behind him. "Lord Vladimir." He spoke kindly as he always had. Vladimir licked his fangs and left with the butler back to the castle.
He noticed everything looked so fresh and turned to his butler who was attempting to lay out clean cloths. "Who's been keeping the house up?" The butler didn't look up. "The academy girls. I usually have a select few I have brought here to help keep the place cleaned" he'd speak softly as he straightened and went to start a bath for his master.
Vladimir stripped and sank into the hot water. Laying his head back, memories of how he bathed with his love played behind his closed eyes.
She sat in the tub, straddling his hips, him rocking in and out of her and her moaning into his neck. The pleasure, caused his mouth to hang open as his hand stroked his length. He hadn't felt her in so long. He never just had sex with her, it was always making love to her. But his love was also human. He always valued humans as beautiful creatures.
An orgasm overtook him and he shuttered in the water, groaning softly. He opened his eyes and stared at the ceiling of the bathroom.
Letting the hot water filter he finally finished up and got out. Beginning to dry himself off. He stood facing the large mirror and sighed.
His natural blue eyes showed in the mirror. He straightened and walked from the bathroom. Pulling on his pants and a shirt, he walked barefoot to the window and looked out. His eyes spotted the building were the academy was. Tomorrow was a cleaning day, he would personally request several of the students.
