It was half past midnight when Tricia finally woke up. She got out of bed and paced her room to the vanity. Sighing deeply, fidgeting with her phone. She had international minutes placed on her phone.

The phone gave off a bright light when she turned it on, nearly blinding her a moment. Adjusting her eyes, she noticed she had three missed calls and five texts.

You see, in the months she had been there not a single sound came from her phone. Scrolling to her texts, she had images of a text from her friend, Jessie, showing her boyfriend texting her.

--

Matt: I love you. Tricia doesn't mean anything to me. The dumb bitch left for Romania and left us all behind.

Jessie: that's sweet of you really, but Matt I don't really like you like that.

Matt: why not? We would make a great couple.

Jessie: haha you gotta be joking, right? I don't like you that way. Actually, I don't like you at all. Tricia is great and an amazing friend. So piss off!

Matt: fuck you Jessie! I only wanted to get laid!

Jessie: in your wildest dreams fuckboy!

--

Tricia had tears fill her eyes, she thought he would stay loyal. She diled Jessie's number and cried over the phone to her. "Tricia, he's not worth it. He's a worthless piece of shit. Besides, I hear Romanian guys are romantic." And Tricia heard her laugh at her own pun. Causing Tricia to giggle a bit through her crying. "That's true..." She thought of the mysterious guy up at the castle. "Did you find someone?" Jessie asked, knowing her bestfriend's tone. "Well I can't say me and him are together. But there's a guy." Tricia quickly regretted saying that out loud as Jessie squealed over the phone. "Tell me the juicy details girl! Did you sleep with this mystery man? Is he hot? Spill it girl!" Tricia tried to stifle a laugh due to it being so late at night.

She thought silently "hello????" Tricia snapped from her thoughts hearing Jessie. "I can't give details to something that's not there." She finally said prompting a sigh of disappointment. "Anyways I better go. Tell Matt his boring lame ex girlfriend hopes he gets herpies." Jessie laughed and bid her farewell to Tricia.

Tricia sighed and deleted Matt from her phone. Standing she grabbed her drawing pad and a pencil and sat in the window. It was raining so she kept her window closed. But the half moon was still beautiful. She looked up to the castle and decided to draw the castle.

By morning, she finished her drawing. It was still dark from the storms.

Vladimir sighed, wriggling his nose up at the rain. When it wasn't a cleaning day he was free to roam the halls of the castle. He only had on his silk pajama bottoms. The maids swooned at his physic. But it only took one cold glance to get them to return to work.

Vladimir sighed sitting in the kitchen, the only one who didn't swoon over him was the kitchen cook. "May I be so bold as to ask why them academy girls keep coming here to clean? Those lazy maids should be put to work m'lord." Vladimir smiled. Olga was one who had been with the family so long.

"Because, have you not noticed girls going missing? It's not a matter of needing the extra help. A vampire has to feed one way or another." Vladimir shrugged indifferent to the fact he was killing the girls. Olga sighed and set his food in front of him. "Why not feed on these thirsty whores around here?" Vladimir couldn't contain the laugh that escaped. "They're either to old or their blood just isn't sweet smelling. But those academy girls, they smell so delicious..."

Olga raised an eyebrow, she hadn't seen Vladimir that bouncy in so long. "And of the girl that was in yesterday? She left without a mark?" Vladimir calmed down quickly. "There's something about her... " he sighed as Olga snarled "she reminds you of..." She was cut off by a glare. Knowing she was about to cross the line she sighed. "Just don't make the same mistake. The girl is innocent, don't ..." She was cut off by Vladimir "I won't.. I've been trying to hide the fact of vampires. After what happen to Sarah I'm not having it happen again." He vowed and hadn't realized he finished off his meal.

Olga nodded and began washing dishes. Vladimir sitting and seeming to watch.
