“That's what people do who love you. They put their arms around you and love you when you're not so lovable.”

― Deb Caletti

“Aren’t you supposed to be on a hospital bed on the other side of the world?” I said as I noticed Harry waiting at my doorstep. I had been out for a hour or so to buy everything I needed before I left for Greece and when I returned he was there. It looked like he had never left, like he was waiting there for me since the moment we met. I didn’t know what to make of him coming here. I had read that he walked out of the show whilst feeling nauseous but I had thought he left the show to come here. I wanted so much to ask him why he was here but well, my stubbornness won.

“What?” he said completely distracted.

“It is kind of strange you being here and not in Australia where you were supposed to be.”

“Oh, yeah! I had unfinished business here.” he said helping me with the bags I was holding while I opened the door. Once inside, he let himself in and started walking around the house while I was at the kitchen making us both a cup of tea. I didn’t want to ask why he was here. He should be the one to address the subject but he was silent as we finally sat on sofa face to face.

“So..” he started.

“Yes?” I replied.

“I heard you dropped out.” So that was why he was here.

“Yes. That’s true. Are you the one who came to change my mind or should I wait for someone else?”

“No, I’m the one.”

“Well, I’m sorry to disappoint you but you just shouldn’t bother to come here. My decision is final and I’m not changing it because my ex-boyfriend decided to save the day.”

“That hurt.” he made a face like I had punched him.

“Truth hurts, Harry. Like betrayal and abandonment, you are familiar with those feelings, right? Oh, I forgot. You didn’t feel them you just caused them right?” I had to admit, irony was my secret talent. He flinched.

“I understand exactly how you are feeling but I’m here to fight and remember all the wrong the decisions I had made.”

“So what are really here for? Because I’m not changing my mind.” I cut him off; he was starting to piss me off acting all calm and peaceful.

“I knew that. But I didn’t know is why you did it.”

“That’s none of your business.”

“I was the one who convinced you to dance that night, so that makes it my fault that you fell so considering all that, that makes it my business.” He said with a bossy tone.

“First things first, it was no one’s fault. It was my decision so no one had anything to do with me falling…”

“And what about Elena?” he asked abruptly cutting me off.

“What about her?” I asked as fast.

“Was she the one who threaten you to expose us if you didn’t dance?”

“How do you know about that?”

“Anne. S he told me everything, why you broke up with me in Berlin, why you were always so stressed out… Elena is the reason behind all of this.”

“Does your new girlfriend know how you talk about her behind her back?”

“Elena is not girlfriend.” He said defensively.
