“I wonder if it's possible for people to fall in love with a person one characteristic at a time, or if you fall for the entire person at once.”

― Colleen Hoover, Losing Hope

---Astrid---

I was laughing so hard that I thought I’d die from laughing so hard. Anne was beside me crawling on the ground holding her stomach. She was laughing equally hard. Honestly, I could easily count in my hand the times I had laughed so hard.

Harry and Niall had bet against my cousins that they could beat them in Pro Evolution. But they lost epically. I hadn’t seen anyone losing so badly. They didn’t even score and they’re playing all morning since we got there. Harry was so pissed that I was laughing at him that he went back the T.V and tried to pull the cables off, which made me laugh even harder. He was so cute when he was pissed. He looked like a little child that had his lollipop taken from him.

“Come on, Astrid. You’re supposed to be my cheerleader.” He said coming closer to me.

“No way. I’d never cheer for such a pitiful team.” I said just when he started tickling me. Now I knew for sure I was going to die from laughing so hard. He fell to the ground with me and he continued to tickle mercilessly.

“You’ll pay for that.” he said tickling me even harder.

“I’ll pay for that. You’re shit at computer games and it’s my fault?” I said. I couldn’t breathe, I was laughing so hard. I looked around me to ask for help but everyone was just watching the show. Even Anne had stop laughing and was cuddling with Niall not caring to save from Harry. My cousins were laughing even harder remembering the game at the balcony.

“Please, I surrender. I surrender. You’re the best.” I said giving up. He was going to kill me tickling me so mercilessly.

“I know I am.” He said cheekily. He lowered himself above and kissed me softly.

“Take it somewhere else, lover boy.” Niall said just when Harry started kissing me even harder. The passion between us was electrifying. He wanted me. I wanted him. But I wasn’t ready. I wanted it to be special. I loved him so much and I wanted to show him exactly how much. He threw me over his shoulder and carried us to our bedroom. Yes, our bedroom. I was so happy we didn’t have to hide here.  He tossed me to the bed and he lowered himself above me.

I was still a bit flushed from laughing so hard and it took me a few seconds to realize that his look has change. Hi gaze was soft and warm, thick with emotion. I cupped his cheeks.

“What is it, Harry?” I asked nervously. My hands trailed down his chest to his heart. I stared up at him trying to understand what he was feeling. He closed his eyes.

“I just… you’re so beautiful.” He said opening his eyes to look at me again.

“Thank you.” I said leaning up and kissed him. He surrendered to my kiss but he rolled off of me and to lie on his side.  I turned to look at him. As I did my hair fell from my shoulder coming in front of my face. I flicked it to my back spreading over the pillow. He stared at me, his fingers in my hair brushing it, massaging my skull. I closed my eyes savoring his movements, this feeling of wanting this moment to last forever.

“Don’t cut your hair. I love the way you flick it around.” His phrase sounded familiar like I’ve heard it but I couldn’t remember from who. With my eyes closed I took a deep breath wishing to freeze time right now with him whispering sweet words to me.

“I love you, Harry.” I said. That phrase was so common. It could never describe how I really felt about him. But how could you describe something that you didn’t even understand yourself? I felt his lips close to mine even with my eyes closed.
