Besides the hangover and the play being cancelled Imogen had a good day at school. Eli had forgiven her, she forgave Eli and it seemed like the world was at peace with her. It was an amazing feeling. Summer was two weeks away and Imogen was looking forward to falling in love this season. The only thing she had to stress about was the finals she had to take in one day. Some subjects she knew she could just wing it but others she knew she’d just fail on the spot.
“Hey, Imogen have you seen Katie…or Eli?” Adam said walking up to Imogen’s locker.
“I don’t really talk to Katie Adam.”
“Come on it was an honest mistake you have to forgive her.” Adam rolled his eyes. Katie told him about how sorry she was about the story incident and he knew Katie wouldn’t lie to him about it.
“Fine, no need to hold grudges right? Especially since I’m in such a happy mood.” She looked at him and smiled.
“I’m scared to ask why.” Adam laughed.
“Eli and I made up and he’s back on his medication. He didn’t tell you?” Imogen looked at him confused.
“I’ve been busy with the radio show all day I haven’t socialized at all except with a microphone.” Adam laughed.
“Wow, are you good at French?” Imogen asked showing him her French textbook.
“I take Spanish but you can ask Eli, he’s pretty good…I think, like I said I take Spanish. Only French word I know is croissant.” Imogen looked at him and laughed.
“Thanks, Adam Torres. I’ll ask him when I find him.” Imogen packed her French book and her binder in her bag.
“You’re only studying for one final.” Adam looked at her bag confused.
“I can convert most subjects to memory except French.” She looked at him avoiding eye contact.
“Man I wish I could do that!” Adam looked happy as him and Imogen began walking down the hall.
“Hey Adam…and Imogen.” Clare looked at the two brunettes confused. Alli stood behind her looking at Imogen.
“wow, you look insanely hot with your hair down, maybe if you wore it down more often you’d get more attention from the boys.” Alli smiled staring at her strange accessories. Imogen put on a fake smile.
“Thanks but I have a boyfriend.” Imogen said looking at Clare surprised she didn’t tell Alli yet.
“Right, sure you do.” Alli laughed. “So where is he? Camp, other school, other city?” she leaned in. “your secrets safe with me.” Imogen scoffed and smiled folding her arms and turning to Clare.
“A—Actually Alli, Imogen is dating Eli.” Clare looked embarrassed. Alli looked confused and her eyes grew wide.
