My alarm goes off making Ashley and I jolt awake. I check the time and see that it's 6:00 am. We both yawn and stretch our arms. Ashley takes out her phone and scrolls through facebook while I make my way to the bathroom to pee. After I wash my hands I run a warm shower. As I wait for the water to warm up my stomach starts twisting in knots and I know what's about to happen. I turn around and bend over the toilet and let it all out. Once I finish I step in the shower and wash myself off.
When I get out of the shower I go into my bedroom and pick out an outfit to wear. I decide on a mint green flowy crop top, high waisted shorts, a cream cardigan, and a pair of white vans. I straighten my hair and put on mascara and eyeliner.
As I get ready Ashley takes a shower and then gets dressed in her outfit which is a peach top with denim shorts and black and brown booties.
Once we're both ready we walk downstairs and into the kitchen. As we reach the kitchen the smell of coffee fills my nose making me feel nauseous. I take a few deep breaths before walking into the kitchen. Mom is at the stove making pancakes with coffee in hand while Josh and Blake sit at the table devouring pancakes. Ashley and I sit down at the table across from them and start scrolling through our phones. As we're showing each other cute dresses for homecoming mom sits down a plate of pancakes and eggs in front of us. I smile and pick up my fork before digging in. Halfway through breakfast the same knots in my stomach appear. I rush up the stairs to the bathroom and bend down over the toilet again. I wash my mouth out again and walk back downstairs where everyone is looking at me with questioning looks. Suddenly the doorbell goes off making everyone snap out of their dazes while I open the door. Aaron locks eyes with me and smiles at me. I smile back at him before letting him in.
"Hey" he says
"Hey" I reply
"Sorry that I came on short notice but I lost my keychain here and I wanted to make sure it was ok to look for it so I wouldn't look like a creeper" he laughs
"It's fine" I smile "So about your girlfriend question"
"Yea?" he asks
