Ashley's POV
Throughout the week Josh has been flirting with me non stop and I would be lying if I said I didn't like it. Truth be told I flirted back so there wasn't really a problem. Right now Bethany has me working out with her at the gym. She says it helps her relax and the plus is that it gets her back in shape.
"Thanks for coming" Beth says as we clean up
"No problem it's actually kind of fun" I laugh
"I like the mindset it gets me in" She says "It helps with everything you know?"
"Yeah." I smile
"Besides I need to get back in shape" She laughs "I love my pudge because it's the only physical reminder of Liam but I know I'll never forget him"
We grab our bags and walk towards the exit. We walk out to her car and get in before going back to her house. As we walk in Josh is standing in the kitchen. Beth grabs two bottles of water and we sit down at he table. As I down my water I notice Josh sneaking glances at me.
"I'm going to get a shower real quick" Beth says getting up "You can take one after me if you want"
"Ok" I smile as she leaves the room
"Nice shorts" Josh smirks
"Nice shirt" I smirk back
"I'm not wearing a shirt" He states
"Exactly" I smirk before getting up
I grab my bag and haul it upstairs to get my clean clothes out. Once Beth comes in her room I grab my clean clothes and walk to the bathroom. I run warm water and peel the sweaty work out clothes off my body.
I step in the water and sigh as the hot water hits my sore muscles. After soaking for a few minutes I start washing my hair and body. When I step out of the bathroom I wrap a towel around my body. When I go to put my clothes on I realize that I forgot my underwear. I groan and quickly walk to Beth's room to grab my clean panties out of my bag.
"What are you doing?" She asks
"I forgot my underwear" I say looking through my bag
As I pull out my black lace panties Josh walks in.
"Hey Beth I'm leavi-" He says but stops when his eyes land on me "Um sorry"
I groan and move beside him to go back to the bathroom. I get dressed and walk back to Beth's room and join her while she watches Grey's anatomy.
"We watch too many shows" I say
"I know." She laughs "Doesn't your mom worry about you?"
"What do you mean?" I ask
"Well you've basically been living here for the past two weeks and your mom hasn't asked when you were coming home"
"She's on a business trip and won't be back until tomorrow" I reply
"Ohh" She says "So you're most likely going home tonight then?"
"I think I'm just going to go in the morning. She doesn't get home until about 6 pm anyway" I reply
"Well now I won't be alone tonight" She smiles
"Why? Where did Josh go?" I ask
"He said out with a friend. Most likely some slut or Blake" She sighs
"You miss him don't you?" I ask
"I guess. I dread going back to school knowing that I hurt him" She frowns
