"I have no idea what to pack" I say
"We're only going to be there for the weekend you don't need your whole room" Ashley says laying on my bed
"But it's hard to find out what I need" I groan "I can fit something one day and then it could be too small the next"
"Then take 2 outfits that it right now and take one outfit that's bigger. Of course pajamas, underwear, bras, and all the other stuff you need" she says
"Ok well help me" I say pulling her off my bed
"Ok" she says "Go take out some vitamins out of the bottle until we leave for the trip."
"Ok" I say as I go to my dresser and take out a pill for today and put it in a baggie before taking the bottle to Ashley.
"Ok now get your toothbrush and toothpaste"
Again I do as she says and she tells me to pick out some outfits for the trip. After an hour of packing we finally finish and since I can't carry heavy things she puts my suitcase in the corner of my room for me.
"So is Jack going to go too?" I ask
Jack is Ashley's new boyfriend. I helped her get ready for their date last week and ever since then they've been dating.
"He didn't say anything" she says
"Are you spending the night?" I ask
"Yea" she says
:Thank god" I goran "It's been so boring and I can never get comfortable at night so I'm up a lot"
"Is that normal?"
"Yea I'm just getting used to sleeping on my side and it's hard to get comfortable"
"So how do you fall asleep then?" she asks
"I've been putting pillows under my stomach and my back. It usually helps"
"Well you should get one of those pregnancy pillows"
"I will soon hopefully. Right now the only people paying for stuff is Blake, his parents, and my mom. I've been trying to find a job but it's no use when I'm going to have to be taking off soon to take care of the baby"
"It's understandable though" she says as she turns the tv on
"I know but I was thinking about where the baby will sleep and I was thinking about having him or her sleep in here with me or I could use the guest room and turn it into a nursery"
"So which one are you going to do?"
"I don't know. I want to turn the guest room into a nursery but I don't want to wake everyone up throughout the night but I don't have enough room for all the baby stuff in here"
"You could do the nursery and keep a crib in here for when the baby gets up at night."
"I could do that but I want a crib in the nursery too" I say
"Just get a crib for the nursery and a bassinet for your room" Ashley says
"Ok thanks I don't know what I would do without you" I say
"No problem. Have you talked to Blake?" she asks
"A few times but it was about the baby" I say
"So nothing about you guys making out?" she asks
"No and every time he tries to bring it up I kind of switch the subject" I say
"What the hell Beth. You can't avoid it"
