Over the last few days I've been researching on adoption agencies. I called yesterday and made an appointment for next week. Today's my first day back to school after everyone has found out about my pregnancy. My ultrasound appointment is today after school so I just put on some black leggings, a white tank top, a black cardigan, and a pair of vans. partially for comfort but also because some of my clothes are starting to get too small. I put perfume on before looking in the mirror. My stomach got a little bigger and it's starting to show more so Ashley and I are going to the mall after my appointment to go shopping for some bigger sizes.
Anyway, once I'm ready I walk downstairs and into the kitchen. As I enter the kitchen Josh leaves. He hasn't been talking to me nor hanging out with Blake ever since he found out about Blake being the father. I walk over to the fridge and grab a bottle of water and a banana before making toast. When my toast pops up I spread peanut butter on them and place slices of the banana on them as well. I sit at the table and eat my breakfast while scrolling through facebook. The day school found out they posted videos of Josh's and Blake's argument. I was so embarrassed so I stayed home for a few days and now it's my first day back in 3 days. Aaron has been texting me but I've been ignoring him, scared of what he has to say. I sigh and put my dishes in the sink before grabbing my keys and leaving for school.
Once I park in front of the school I take a deep breath before grabbing my bag and getting out. As I turn around I see everyone's eyes on me. I take a deep breath before slowly walking towards the entrance. As I walk there I hear people whisper things like....
"She slept with her brother's best friend and now she's knocked up"
"I heard she slept with Blake right after her and Luke broke up, what a slut"
Tears cloud my eyes as I try to ignore all the things they're saying about me. Once I reach my locker I put in the combo and open it up. As I put my bag in there Ashley comes up beside me.
"You're back" she squeals as she hugs me
"I'm back" I shrug
"It's been weird without you here" she says
"I guess it would be when all you hear is people calling me a slut" I say as I take out the books I need
"That's not true. Some people feel bad for you" she says
"I don't need them to feel bad for me" I snap "It's my life and it's not like I'm going to be a mother, I'm giving the baby up for adoption so I can forget this ever happened"
"I know" she says
"I'm sorry I'm just stressed" I say "I have an ultrasound today, adoption agency meeting next week, I need to go shopping for more clothes, Josh isn't talking to me, Blake is mad at me, Aaron is-"
"Right behind you" she says
"Beth" he says
I gulp and turn around
"We need to talk" he says
"I'll leave you two alone" Ash says before leaving
"Why haven't you been returning my calls and texts?" he asks
"I was scared of what you might've said" I say
"Which would be?"
"You want to break up" I answer
"Why would I break up with you?" he asks
"Because I'm pregnant" I say
"I know" he says "I'm not breaking up with you"
"You're not?" I smile
"No. I'm going to be there for you and the baby no matter what happens" he says
