Chapter 30

~18 weeks~

"Ok class now that the project is over and almost all of you passed you can put your fake babies in the box at the back of the room" Our home ec teacher says

I stand up with the fake baby in my hands and gently put it in the box at the back of room like instructed. As I turn around I bump into Aaron.

"Sorry" I say

"It's fine" he smiles "How are you?"

"I'm fine" I smile

"And the baby?"

"The baby is good too. We go to the doctor's in 2 weeks we can find out the sex then" I smile

"That's great. If you ever need someone to talk to I'm here" he shrugs

"Thanks" I smile

"No problem" he smiles back

I sit back down at my seat next to Blake and he looks at me confused.

"What?" I ask

"What did he want?" he asks nodding towards Aaron

"He just asked how me and the baby are" I say

"There was a lot of smiles going on over there" he mumbles

"Hey" I say softly as I take his hand "I told you I would give you shot and I mean it"

"I know but he's flirting with you" he says sitting up "I want you to be mine"

"I know" I smile "Why don't we talk about it later though in private so nobody eavesdrops on our conversation?"

"Go on a date with me tonight?" he says

"Ok" I smile "What time?"

"7 dress up" He smiles

"Ok" I smile

The bell rings and we go off our separate ways to our classes. The rest of the school day goes by in a blur and I find myself walking towards my car with Ashley waiting for me as usual.

"Ok I know you're pregnant but can you try to walk faster" She says

"I can't help it" I say "I'm growing and I'm going to start wobbling soon"

"I know but you're only 18 weeks"She says

"It doesn't matter I'm just going to get slower and slower" I laugh

"You're awfully happy today" she comments "What happened?"

"I'm going on a date with Blake tonight and I have to dress up" I say

"Another date? Why don't you just admit you have feelings for him and just tell him you'll be his girlfriend? You guys have made out a lot lately I'm pretty it's not just your hormones" she babbles "Wait! Did you just say you have to dress up?"

"Yes I did" I say

"Ahhh!!"She squeals "He's going to ask you to be his girlfriend"

"Calm down just because it's a dressy date doesn't mean he's going to ask me to be his girlfriend" I laugh as I back out of my parking spot

"Yes it does. He wants to be romantic" she sighs

"Whatever" I laugh "Are you going to help me out or what?"

"Well duh" she laughs

"Ok then let's go to the mall then we can go back to my house" I say

I drive to the mall and park before we go in. Ii check my wallet and make sure I have $50 in it. We stop at the smoothie place and I get a strawberry banana smoothie before we start our adventure. We go to the forever 21 and go to my normal size clothes thinking if we get a flowy dress we don't have to get a bigger size. Ashley picks out a black dress and we go to the dressing room to try it on. I unzip the back and step into it then ask Ashley to zip it up.
