My alarm goes off waking me up. I yawn and stretch my arms before getting up and getting ready. I curl my hair in loose curls and find an outfit to wear. I put on flowy light blue blouse, black stretchy pants, a leather jacket, and a pair of white vans.

I apply eyeliner and mascara before going downstairs. I sit down at the table while my mom is writing something don in a journal.
"What are doing?" I ask her
"Writing down things I need to get at the store for thursday" she says
"What's thursday?" I ask
"Thanksgiving" she laughs "Have you forgotten?"
"Yea" I sigh "But at least there's going to be food"
"You and food I swear" Josh laughs coming in
"I am eating for two ya know" I say crossing my arms
"I know but you're such a pig" he laughs
"I can't help it when my kid is hungry" I say "By the way mom baby really wants chicken soup tonight"
"Ok" she laughs "Tell Ashley and Blake their families are invited to dinner on thursday"
"I will. I should probably get going" I say standing up
I grab my keys and bag before leaving the house. I pick up Ashley and then we drive to school. I tell her that she and her family is invited for thanksgiving dinner and she says she'll tell her parents.
I park in a parking spot and we get out before walking into the school building. We go to our lockers and put our stuff in it.
"I can't wait for thursday" I laugh
"Of course there's food involved" Ash laughs "You're a bottomless pit right now"
"I know" I laugh
"What are you laughing about?" Blake asks
"Thanksgiving" Ashley says
"And that I'm a bottomless pit" I laugh "My mom told me to invite you and your family over for dinner by the way"
"Ok I'll let my parents know" He smiles
I eyes lock on his lips and my cheeks turn red at the memory of the kiss back in DC. He notices and winks at me before leaving.
"What was that about?" Ashley smirks
"Nothing" I say pretending not to know
"Something did happen" she says "What happened"
"We kissed back in DC" I shrug as though it was nothing
"Oh my fucking god" she squeals
"Shut up" I laugh
"You guys are goals are y'all together now?" she asks
