I felt my body tingling all over. I couldn't tell if it was from cold or from heat, but either way, I was slowly being awakened by the sensation. I could tell right away that it wasn't a bad thing. I slowly felt my consciousness coming back and finally it allowed me to blink my eyes open.

I could only make out flickering lights at first as my vision cleared, but as it did, I instantly drew in a sharp breath.

I took several things into account. First, I was completely naked. Second, I was in a room that appeared to be an over-sized bedroom and I was on the bed, and three, the magnitude of the room allowed me to perceive that the place I was in was much like a castle if the stone walls and floors were any indication along with the vastness. I wanted to marvel in the exquisiteness of the place, except that at that moment, the worry of where I was seemed to be of more importance. I lifted myself up off of the bed and as I did, my hand rubbed over some satin-like material. I glanced down at my hand. Underneath it was a beautiful baby pink satin dress. It had chiffon shoulder sleeves and the bodice tied in the back in a corset style. The skirt was the softest of silks and it flowed down easily to my feet. They were the same soft pink color. It was as if my captor knew my favorite color. I lifted the dress up and pulled it over my head.

It's not like I was willingly accepting the obvious gift, but I wasn't going to prance around a strange place unclothed, so I was going to wear the dress and shoes.

Once I had the dress on, I reached around behind me to pull the tied closed, but a pair of cold hands beat me to it.

"Please, let me milady."

It was softly spoken and with a heavy English accent. I waited until I felt the dress pulled tight and I glanced down at how the dress looked on me. "Exquisite fit. The king knew just what t...oh dear...I'll hush now."

I spun around to face the stranger. "Who are you? Where am I?"

"Please excuse me, milady. I cannot answer your questions. Me master'll have me head."

She scurried out through the double doors that I assumed led to the rest of the place I was in and I wasted no time in following after her.

As soon as I was in the corridor, I drew in a sharp breath. It was even bigger than I had thought it would be and I had absolutely no idea where to go. I took a deep breath and decided to go to the left. As I did, I tried to open my mind link to my dad. 'Dad? Can you hear me? I have no idea where I am. I am going to try and find some clues so I can tell you. Don't give up on me dad. I'm sorry.'

There was no response. It worried me. I remembered the words of the vampire that had taken me and immediately froze with fear. I couldn't help but think about the what ifs. I just hoped beyond hope that my dad was alright.

I continued walking, but instantly froze again as I heard a voice as it got closer.

"Did you really think that you were going to bring a were to our kingdom and I would just give her to you, Rafe? I couldn't even if I wanted to. She's a threat, but she's also my bel..."

The voice stopped as the speaker of it came around the corner and saw me standing in the middle of the corridor. I had thought to run, to get as far away from the man who had taken me as I could. But the other man, the one who had been speaking, there was something about his voice that made my body want to stay where it was. His eyes were sapphire blue and the blue seemed to dance around in his irises. His hair was blond and was trimmed short. He was at least 6'2 or 6'3 and was extremely built. His skin was slightly pale and appeared to have a marble-like texture and that instantly let me know that he was a vampire just like the man beside him. When he took a step toward me, I immediately took a step back and sucked in a sharp breath. He looked at me alarmed and glanced back at the other vampire.
