"Go say bye to granny so we can go home" I was finally back in New York with my baby and I was happy to be home and after last night I just wanted to cuddle with my baby and kick it with my best friend. After Ryan kissed my mother and told her he would see her later I we walked to the car that had Calais waiting we were about to go out to eat or just grab something to go home and watch a movie nothing was really decided yet. "Let's go girl" she pulled off and I turned up the radio a bit "So what are we doing grab food then home" I just nodded "You pick the place" she said she wanted some good soul food so I told her where to go magic soul food.
Walking in the place all the different smells hit me the wait was sort of long but when I finally made it up to the counter to see the food it was worth it "What you getting Calais" she looked and did a bird man rub "Man everything look good uh let me get a smothered chicken meal" "What two pieces of chicken and what two sides would you like darling" Calais looked and decided what she wanted soon as someone else walked up to me "And what can I get you" I smiled "I need two meals one of them smothered pork chop meal and the other southern fried chicken meal" he nodded "What sides with those meals and what pieces of chicken do you want" "with the pork chop I want the cabbage and yellow rice and with the chicken I want dressing and collard greens and I would like the whole wings how many do you get" "You get six whole wings" I nodded "Ok that's good" "Would you like anything to drink" "Uh yea ill take a tropical punch cool aid and a sweet tea" he nodded got my drinks and Calais waited for me at the register "Ok ladies your total today will be 38.74" I went in my purse to pull out my card but Calais had already paid.
On the ride home we discussed what movie we would watch when I got a text from Nick and instead of ignoring it I read it she was asking me to turn on a certain radio station so I did.
