Chapter 9

At the end of the day I left practice and went home to shower. After showering I threw on some basketball shorts a tshirt and my socks and slides I hopped in my truck and made my way to Riya house to give her the work she missed. When I pulled up to her house I parked got out and went to knock on the door. "Hey mama is she OK" I asked once I seen Lea open the door "Yea baby she fine go on up she should be in her room" I nodded and walked passed her and up the stairs to Riya room. She was laying on the bed her clothes were changed and it looked like she had washed and blow dried her hair "What's up maywheather she laughed "Hey how was practice" "It was ok I brought your work" she smiled "Thanks" I nodded "So what type of punishment did you get" I asked she shook her head "None since Demi started it but my grand daddy is coming over so we can all talk" I nodded "That might be for the best" she sat up then looked at me "Why didn't you tell me you had broken up with her" she asked I shrugged "I don't know I really wasn't thinking about her I just wanted to get back to how things were I miss being around you and yo big head" she laughed "Whatever but next time I have to fight her in my red bottoms I will kill her" she said seriously but I died laughing and in the midst of my laughing the doorbell sounded "That's my cue to go...hit me up later" I walked down stairs hugged Lea and Dee and went home.

"Hey daddy Hey mama" I spoke to both kissing their cheek "Hi Demi" I said she just looked at me as if she was better than me I had to remember I was a grown woman before I stomped a mud hole in her forgetting she was my sister "Speak to your sister Demi" daddy said sternly She sighed and rolled her eyes "Aalea" She greeted I called down Riya and did a silent prayer for God to keep me. Mariya came down the steps and ran to Dee "Grand daddy" he smiled "Hey baby how you doing" She shrugged "I'm ok....hey gigi" She said hugging Vicky, Vicky kissed her forehead and we all sat down.

"Now that everyone is here let's get down to the matter at hand" my dad said standing up "Now before I start I don't wanna hear no he say she say all I wanna hear is the truth from the both of you" the girls nodded "Demetria tell me what happened and I promise if I don't get the truth I will beat yo ass up and down the block" I sat back and crossed my leg "Daddy It wasn't my fault Its her fault and that fat bitch" Before She could say anything else Victoria reached over and smacked her "You will watch your mouth" She started to cry "They're taking away everybody I love soon as they came none payed me any attention anymore I shouldn't have to share my bestfriend with this carpet muncher" I laughed "Carpet muncher really says the girl that just got dumped by Nick" Riya said my dad looked at Demi "So you out here starting fights with your own blood your niece because you think you deserve all our attention well your wrong we are family and whether you like It or not she is your sister and a grown ass woman let me hear about you or even see treating her any differently I will fuck you up and as for Mariya that is your niece act like It you want her to call you Auntie act like one then" he turned to Mariya "Who started the fight at school" "She came at Nick made that She broken up with her blamed It on me called me out my name and charged at me I did was I taught I defended myself" he nodded "Same thing Gabby said but not Demi and since Demetria feels the need to lie give me your phone your credit cards and the car keys" She looked shocked "But daddy" "Now Demetria" She sighed and handed everything over sluggishly "Aalea I'm sorry on behalf of my ungrateful child" Vicky said "Its ok mama" She turned to Demi "Now apologize" She stood up "I apologize for being a brat and causing such turmoil" I nodded "Its ok Demi but the next time you cross me excuse my language daddy but I will tag that ass" She stepped back "Don't hide now because I'll let her now get yo ass home" my daddy said and she ran out "Go get to yo homework Riya" She nodded hugged my daddy one more time and left. "Thanks for coming over daddy" I said setting up for dinner "No problem I wanted to settled this It don't make no sense for her to be so selfish" I nodded "Yea but she go get over It" he smiled kissed my forehead "Alright baby girl I'm gone Dj should be skyping me soon" "Ok tell him I love him" he nodded and left out the door.

"Mike hurry up I don't wanna be late you Aalea hates when we late" Right now me and Mike were getting ready for the family dinner we always have with the crew but him and his son taking forever. Let me give y'all the run down real fast I know Its been a minute since y'all heard from me but ya girl be hustling I own my own salon now lonna is 11 and my son Xavier is 4 and is his daddy spitting image even acts like him in between my salon the kids and making sure I keep my husband eyes on me and me only I haven't had time to get with my girls and just chill so me and the kids go stay there and chill while the fellas go and do whatever they do. "You ready" Mike asked walking up to me I smacked my lips "Nigga duh I been waiting for you come on" he laughed and we left.

Pulling up to Lea home Mike parked behind Sash car and got out he got Zay out and opened my door Lonna got out on her own she say she a big girl, pulling my key out my bag I unlocked the door "Shanti Cunningham that key is for emergencies only" Lea yelled "Well this is one I miss my wife" I walked into the kitchen and squealed seeing her at the stove and Sasha sitting at the table "My loves oh how I missed you guys" I ran over to Sash and hugged the life out of her "Hello darling and how are my babies" She moved me to kiss the kids "Wifey" Lea laughed "Hey baby" She walked over to me and hugged me I stood back "Aalea Renee Jordan I know your not" "Please don't be mad I been meaning to call you It slipped my mind" I put my hand on my hip "So it slipped your mind that I had another niece or nephew on the way" She sighed "No but It slipped my mind to call" "I thought we were better than this" I went and sat down "We are Shan Shan" She pouted I turned "Nope not go work" She sighed "Come on I have pregnant brain" I laughed "You funny you lucky I love yo ass...how far along are you" "I'll be three months next Monday" I nodded "where my brothers and there kids" I asked "Check the den for Josh and Jer and my gang up stairs" Lea said "Can you call him" I asked she sighed "Just lazy" she mumbled "Jeremiah come here" she hollered y'all should've seen how fast this nigga made it to the kitchen "You ok" he asked almost panicking "Nothing love She wanted you" Lea said going back to the food "Bru bru hey" I hugged him he pinched my side "Waasup baby thug how you been since you be mia and all that" I laughed "Whatever but I been good I just miss spending time with my family" he nodded "True but I'm bout to get back to there game" he said and walked off before I could say anything else "Wife your husband is something else" She laughed "You ain't gotta tell me". Riya came down the stairs and I was shocked to see her with a off the shoulder half tee that said dance some bandana joggers and some black and white 11's. "Hey Auntie" She spoke and hugged me "I would say hey baby girl but you ain't no baby no more is that a belly ring" She laughed "Yea it is look" She pulled out her phone and showed me a pic of her with blonde hair "Where the hell have I been and what's been going on since I been gone" She laughed again "I don't know but I'll see y'all later ma I'm going to the studio" with that She left and I sat back down with my girls to get our night started.
