Chapter 10

*3 Days later*

I was finally allowed back at school but in order for us to attend classes our parents had to sit down and talk to the principal and me and Imani and Demi had to come to an agreement to stay out of each other way "So Mrs. Smith and Ms. Morris as long as the girls stay out of trouble no extreme measures such as lost of scholarships and going to prom will not be taken away but let this happen again and you can say goodbye to walking across stage" she expressed "OK thank you Ms. Sparks I assure you it won't be happening" my mother said and Imani mama agreed the principal let us go and I went straight to class. Soon as I walked in to literature I gave the teacher my note let him sign it and sat behind Farrah "Hey girl I heard you fought Demi" I nodded I wasnt really proud of what I did but I'm not go deny it happened "Damn girl I never knew yo prissy ass had it in you to throw hands" I just laughed it's a lot they don't know about me like the fact that my dad along with my mom aunts and uncle's taught me how to protect myself that includes shooting unloading and reloading a gun my momma don't know daddy got me a black desert eagle for my birthday last year with a pink scull design grip he makes sure I keep it in the hidden compartment of my car "Haven't you ever heard don't judge a book by its cover" I said smiling as the bell rung I left class and I smiled seeing Nick in the hall "Chunky baby" she yelled I ran to her open arms as she picked me up I laughed "Put me down crazy" she smiled putting me down "I missed you man" she said dragging each word I laughed I didn't see her those three days she would bring my homework but mom would take it at the door "I missed you too butter cup" we linked arms as we walked up the hall "You cute" she complimented I smiled today I was relaxing in a black hoodie with leather sleeves and my black last king jogging pants with my bred 11s and a black Beanie with gold studs "Thank you baby so do you" she smiled as we entered physics.

It was now lunch time and I wanted to switch it up "Aye y'all let's go to BWW" I voiced to Mesha, Porsha, Devin, Tamika, John, Farrah, Gabby, Dominic and of course Nick "Yea let's forms that" they agreed "Let's take Riya car and Nick truck" Gabby suggested I nodded "Cool let's be out" we walked to the parking lot and loaded the cars pulling out and was on our way. We got to buffalo wild wings and parked I hopped out my car and so did Gabby John Tamika and Devin it was like everybody got in the cars with they better half mesh and Porsha were a couple and so were Dominic and farrah I wasn't sweating it doe cause I had my bestie. Walking inside the man asked how many and I told him "10" he nodded and lead us to a double joined table "A waiter will be with you shortly" we said ok and proceeded to look at the menu "Let's just get 100 wings meaning we all get ten of whatever flavor were want" Nick suggested "Yea we can do that aye butter cup let's share the cheese fries" I said after agreeing she called a waiter over and we all told her what we wanted I got the honey bbq and the lemon pepper Nick got the parmesan garlic and the Asian zing and she ordered our basket of fries with cheese and our drinks. We all sat and ate talking and joking around we even took a couple pictures for the gram my favorite was me and Nick she bit her lip looking at me and I blushed looking away it was cute. After we were done we took what we couldn't eat to go and made our way back to the school.

So far today has been stressful ever since the whole incident with Riya car I've been getting letter from Chels lawyer saying she not go pay so I been fighting them all week. Right now I'm at the office were we handle all our major transactions dealing with all the businesses we own as a family. I was looking through the weekly reports making sure numbers added up when I decided to take a break and get some food. I called up Josh to see if her was up for some Tai while we talked business "Aye bruh you up for some lunch I got some things to run by you" he answered with a yes and I had him meet me at suko Thai. "What bru" I drapped him up when I got to the table in the back "Nothing much man keeping the business running" I nodded "True" the waiter came and we both got the beef drunken noodle "So whats up with you man" I sighed "Shit man I was just looking at the weekly reports everybody doing good but I was thinking maybe we have Mike add on to the garage" "What you thinking a dealership" I nodded "Yea why not the shop doing numbers just imagine if we added on a dealership as well" he sat back it looked like he was thinking it over "Damn you right that bring in hella money" I nodded "Exactly". We sat and just chopped it up some more until we both decided to head home "Alright bru I'll get up with you later" I said standing up dapping him up again he nodded "Fasho bru kiss the girls for me tell sis I love her" I nodded and we parted ways with a final good bye.

Omniscient.....

Jeremiah was time getting a snack together for the kids before he went to pick them up and Aalea was cleaning and closing down the office. As she was locking up she was on the phone with Shanti scheduling an appointment to come to the shop "Yea girl I just need the usual you know wash hot oil treatment end clip and bouncy wrap" Aalea voiced dropping her office keys in her bag and fishing for her car keys "Hold on sis my line beeping" looking at the phone she saw it was Riya so she answered "Yes Ri" she stopped in her tracks not even noticing Chelsea and the woman she would recognize as Tez wife walking up on her. "Riya I'll be home shortly.....AHHHH" Lea screamed as Chelsea pulled the trigger on her stun gun "Momma you ok" Riya said frantic she was on her way home and had Nick with her making a drastic turn she headed for the clinic "Bitch you thought you would get away with killing our man" Chels said as if it was funny reaching in her purse for her gun Chels pulled the trigger again sending another volt of electricity through her body. Cortez wife (Sandra) pulled out the baton that also had a stun gun at the end and began to hit Lea every where "You stole my husband" she kept hitting and hitting just as Chels kept pulling the trigger sending 800v of electricity through Lea body for five every time and so far it was a total of eight. Pulling up on the scene Riya went into her secret compartment and pulled out her gun taking it off safety she hopped out with Nick right behind her clueless as to what was happening aiming and pulling the trigger Riya shot Sandra in the neck and moved closer to get Chels in the back of the head. Looking down she saw her mother bruised body and blood coming from below she broke down feeling helpless all over again. Nick got Mariya phone and called Jeremiah and all she had to say was Mama A got attacked at work before he was on his way calling everybody else in a conference call. He pulled up got out and saw his wife on the floor bloody and bruised and his daughter asking her mother to wake up "Nick you get Riya please put her in my truck" Jer asked then he went to gently pick up Lea "Its ok baby I have you now" Jer whispered and kissed his wife cheek he laid her in the back seat and got in his truck "Get them to the hospital now" he tossed Nick his keys she got in the truck and pulled off he stayed behind to get rid of the bodies he immediately recognized Chels but the other woman he didn't know so he took her pic to see if Lea knew her Josh pulled up with Mike "I sent the girls to the ER did you call pops" Josh asked I shook my head "Nah do that" he nodded pulling out his phone and Mike helped Jer dispose of the body in the alley and making it look like a prostitution gone wrong after making sure he left nothing behind he took of the gloves and shoe booties "Let's go" he ordered getting in Riya car and they made their way to the hospital with everyone else.

Walking up in the hospital I had to get myself together I'm glad I always kept a change of clothes I had to change out my shirt. Going up to the front desk the old lady smiled at me "How can I help you" she asked "I would like to know what room Aalea Smith is in" she smiled "They only allowing family to see her" I sighed I hate when niggas assume shit "I'm her husband what room" she typed something up on the computer then she gave me the room number "145" I nodded and ran off to her room I seen Riya holding her hand Lea was barely keeping her eyes open "Go home baby wash up I got this" she looked hesitant but nodded assuring her she came to me and I held her in my arms for a while my baby was so fragile and it hurt that I couldn't help. She let go after a while I gave her the car keys back and watched as she left.

Sitting beside my wife I sighed "I'm sorry baby...it seems as if I can never protect you" Dee walked in and patted my shoulder "She go be ok son trust me my baby girl strong" "I know pops I'm just tired of seeing her like this" the doctor walked in and before he could speak I did "Is my baby ok" was all I wanted to know "Mrs. Smith is fine right now she has pain meds in her system so she might be out of it but right now her body has to recover from the shock" I shook my head "No doc my unborn is he or she ok" I asked the doctor looked at his chart and when his face fell I knew the answer "I'm sorry Mr. Smith"
