Chapter 18

It was now feburary and today was the day we started rigourous traing for the play offs I had just got done packing my gym bag when my mom busted in my room "Even though we aren't really talking I'm still your mother so here" I looked at the smoothie in her hand and took it "Thanks" she nodded "Don't train to hard" I gave a small smile and walked out I grabbbed my car keys off the counter and grabbed my water bottle before leaving out the door. On my ride to the gym I drank my smoothie and jammed to some old Cassidy.

When I got to the gym I parked and got out walking inside the gym I headed straight to the locker room to change. As I was changing I heard singing and instantly knew who it was "The only reason God gave me hands was to hold you and the only reason he gave me ears was to hear your voice say I will always love you" I smiled "You finnaly learned the words I see" I said sneaking up behind her her she jumped and I laughed she turned and punched me "Don't do that" I kissed her cheek "Im sorry Chunky butt" she turned and closed her locker before pulling her hair up in a bun she turned and pecked my lips "See you after practice" I nodded and walked away.

In the middle of practice coach stopped us "Alright since its play off its time for drug testing" a lot of people sighed but i had nothing to worry bout I didnt smoke so I went to my bag got my water and drank almost half so I could use it. Coach gave me the cup I went into the bathroom put the sticker with my name on it on the top washed my hands and got back to practice. After practice coach let us know that results will be back tomorrow.

When I got done getting dressed I went to find Riya "How you get here Chunky butt I didnt see your car out back" she started to put on her hoodie "I road with Farrah" "Ride back with me" she nodded "Ok let me just tell Farrah" I went to finish getting dressed while waiting for Riya. We were finally on our way home "Babe I want to treat you to dinner tonight" I said quickly looking over at her she smiled "Awww our first date Ok...how should I dress" I chuckled "Casual but cute" she smacked her lips "When am I not cute" I laughed "Concieted ass" she shrugged and pulled out her phone texting as we rode. After dropping her off at home I let her know I'll be there at 8 then made my way home to shower and get dressed.

Soon as I got in the house I greeted my parents before I ran off to the shower grabbing my wash cloth I washed up with my caress Passionate spell body wash. My shower ended up being thirty minutes because I was singing and dancing after I was done I pranced around my room getting ready I put on my black on black lace panty and bra set before putting on anything else I sat at my vanity to do my hair and make up using my flat iron I made my hair bone straight before contouring my face with a natural blush look.

I got up and put on my black Paige denim skyline skinny jeans soon as I buttoned them up there was a knock at my door "Whos there" "Its mommy" I laughed "Come in" I said and put on my white cashmere V-neck sweater I heard my door open "Hey baby" I sat on my bed and smiled "Hey mama whats up" she eyed me for a minute "Where you going" my smile got bigger "Me and Nick going on our first date" she smiled "Aww where" I began to put on my socks "Out to dinner" she nodded "You look gorgeous" "Thank you mama" she smiled "Be safe and have fun" I nodded she turned to walk out and I put on my calf Polo riding boots with a chain by the ankle. I observed my self before putting on my charm bracelet and diamond studs I grabbed my keys clutch phone and coat before going to sit down stairs.

"Where you going looking all cute" my dad asked almost as soon as I sat at the island "Me and Nick have our first date" he nodded "Do I have to give her that talk again" I laughed "No daddy" he nodded and walked away as my phone vibrated in my hand.

I smiled at the text and sent back a simple ok and sat at the counter texting Gabby crazy behind. About 10 minutes later the doorbell rang so I got up and walked to the door I looked through the peep hole to make sure it was Nick and once I confirmed it was I opened the door and smiled "Hey" she pulled her hand from behind her back revealing the roses she had "These are for you" I smiled and took the roses "Thank you...come in while I put these in water and get my coat" she stepped inside and I closed the door behind her. After putting the roses in a vase of water I grabbed my peacoat and was ready to go she escorted me out the house I locked the door and she waited on the passenger side of her truck with the door open. After I climbed in and got comfortable she closed the door ran over to her side got in buckled up and pulled off. "So where you taking me" I asked after a few minutes of riding "You'll see just sit back relax" I nodded and turned up the radio bobbing my head to the music as we rode along the streets.

We pulled up at The Door about twenty to thirty minutes later The Door is a carribbean resturant in Jamaica queens. After parking the car we walked inside got a table for two and took off our coats she came and pulled out my chair for me to sit it was then that I took my time to admire her attire dressed in a grey polo sweater black jeans and dark carbon grey canvas faxon low sneaker and of course her hair was down and actually straight I heard her chuckle "Are you done" I looked up and laughed a little and nodded she took a seat and not to long after the waitress came "Hello my name is Claudia and I'll be your waitress for the evening can I start you off with an appetizer and something to drink" "Actually were ready to order" Nick spoke "Alright what would you like" "Can I get a tripe and beans with rice with curried chicken and a virgin daiquiri" Nick said "What about you sweetie" I smiled "I'll have a curried shrimp and curried chicken with plain roti and white rice with a virgin strawberry daiquiri as well" she nodded "I'll be back with your order shortly" we both said thank you and she walked away. I looked around the resturant "This is nice babe" I said once I looked back at Nick she smiled "Yea it's cool" she bobbed her head to the music playing as we waited for our food. The food arrived ten minutes later and I couldnt help the fact that my mouth watered at just the smell alone.

"Oh my goodness that was delicious" Nick said I nodded "It was" we had ate dinner and dessert and left she was now walking me to my door. "I had a really great time Nick" she smiled standing in front of me "I'm glad you had such a good time baby maybe next time we do something in the day" I nodded "Sounds great" she smiled and grabbed my waist pulling my body towards hers instinctively I wrapped my arms around her neck she gave me a simple peck on the lips but I wanted more so I pulled her face back to mines kissing her but gently she swipped her tongue across my top lip and I gladly opened up I had never frenched kissed before but with Nick it was like everything came as instinct and came freely and as my tongue gently glided against hers it was then that I knew for sure that I had fallen inlove with this girl.
