Chapter 12

Me and Nick woke up the next morning she went to the guest shower and I went to the one in my room she was coming with me to go see my momma. When I got out the shower I lotion down and pulled on my black boyfriend jeans off white long sleeve shirt I unwrapped my hair and brushed it down making sure my part was in the middle I put on my off white Polo hat to the back slid on my socks and put on my brand new Air Jordan Retro 13 White/Tropical Teal-Black-Wolf Grey I had my daddy order me two pairs since they weren't out yet but he some always got them first. Nick came back in the room with some black jogging pants and a white short sleeve shirt with this blue electric design I was glad she had that on because the other Jordan's were hers "Riya them not even out yet how you get em...I gotta get me some" I laughed "I'm glad you like them here" I handed her the box she jumped up "You didn't" I nodded "I did open them" she opened the box cheesing like a kid on Christmas she put the box down and came over to me "You know you the best right" I smiled "I know" she kissed me and smiled "Stop being all mushy put your shoes on so we can go" she pulled the shoes on her feet and I stood up grabbing my keys my phone left out with Nick following behind me with her crazy hair bouncing everywhere.

Thirty minutes later we pulled up to the hospital after we left McDonald's of course walking in I went to the front desk "Hey can you tell what room Aalea Smith is in" I asked nicely the woman typed up something without looking at me and told me her room number I thanked her and made my way to the room. Walking up the hall I went to room 145 and knocked before hearing my dad say come in pushing the door open we both walked in I hugged my daddy then went to my mom's side "Hey mama" I said rubbing her hand her eyes opened and she smiled "Hey baby" I kissed her forehead and she gently rubbed my cheek "Daddy told me the doctor said everything was ok that you just needed to rest so does that mean the baby is ok" she sat up with the little strength she had and patted the bed next to her I looked to Nick and dad sitting next to each dad nodded saying it was ok so I sat down she grabbed my hand "They say since I was only two months the baby couldn't sustain the trauma from the shock" my heart stopped and I tried to hold the tears back but I couldn't they came like a wave that could break levies "Calm down baby" she said soothingly but I didn't Nick came and grabbed me after my dad told her to wrapping her arms around me she rubbed my back calming me down "I'm glad I killed her" I finally spoke after calming down "Shh not here ok" I sighed "Who was the other women" I asked turning around looking at my mother "I never saw her face" my mom said "I thought that would be the case so I took a picture" my dad pulled out his phone my mom frowned "You positive that's the woman with Chels" she asked "Yea positive" she shook her head "That's Cortez wife" I sighed that's why I hated that nigga I swear he put her through everything. Nick sat down and pulled me into her lap I got comfortable in her embrace and sat and talked with my parents for a while longer "Oh and Mariya we having a long talk when I get out of here" my mom said with a serious face I smiled "It was dad's idea" she laughed "I figured....thank you" I kissed her cheek and left.

After leaving the hospital I called papa Dee to see if the kids wanted to go to the park he said the girls did bit three boys wanted to stay with him. Pulling up to papa Dee house and got out to get the girls I rang the door bell and smiled when Dj opened up "What up unc" I hugged him "Whats good Ri" I shook my head "Nothing when you get in" I asked yea he got accepted to NYU right after high school and even though its in state we barely see him "I just dropped by today" I nodded "Cool well let me get the girls so we can go" he walked off to get the girls and i waited the girls came runninh to me in their matching addidas sweat suits with the samoas i smiled "You girls ready to go" they nodded smiling and i grabbed they hand saying bye to Dj before heading to the car.

Nick....

"Hey girls" i greeted when they got in the car "Hi Nick" they said at the same time "Yall ready to go to the park and have fun" i asked soundinh excited they smiled "Yes i cant wait to get on the swing and slide" Kourtney said i laughed "I bet" when i said that Riya cut on the radio and jammed to some music for the rest of the ride. We pulled up to a local park and i let the girls out after we parked and smiled as they ran towards the swing set "Riya come push me" Kourtney asked she was more talkative then Kiana i walked over to kiana "Would you like me to push you" she smiled nodding i smiled and began to push her. The girls went from the swings to he slides to the jungle gym and monkey bars back to the swings "Alright girls its time to go" Riya announced they groaned but she was right it was getting pretty late and we all had school tomorrow. After feeding the girls we dropped them back off at Dee house and Riya was dropping me off at home "I'll be picking you up for school tomorrow alright" i said getting out she smiled "Ok butter cup see you tomorrow" i smiled back pecked her lips and said "We wearing our shoes" she laughed "Ok bye" i closed the car door and ran in the house watching her pull off from the window "So you finally got her huh" i smiled hearing my dads voice "Yea i did" he nodded "Thats good dont lose her" i shook me head "Never" i responded bid him good night and went to my room to shower and get ready for bed tomorrow me and Riya was going to school as more than bestfriends she was finally my lady and i was going to show her off.
