Keisha's P.o.v

I was silent on the ride to school. I moved in with Bryan for the time being according to my pops. It turns out that, Jolene already complained about me giving her a hard time, so it wasn't long before pops found out and agreed. Plus, mama was more than happy to put me into a "responsible household instead of a household full of bad examples," she said it just like that when I heard her voice in the background.

So far, Bryan was more than nice and helpful when I stayed at his apartment. He still had photos of my sister, so I guess that he still loves her and stuff. I really like staying with him so far because when I have nightmares, he's always next door, so he could comfort me. Also when I go crazy because of my bipolar, and I don't want to take my pills, he holds me tightly and whispers nice things into my ear. One time, I started throwing things at him randomly when we was watching a movie and he wasn't afraid to help me calm down, plus, he convinced me to take my pills after that random tantrum.

Well, now is Friday, and I'm going back to school. I didn't go to school ever since the situation that happened with my sister and I, so I'm finally going back.

"Don't forget to take your pills at lunch, alright mamas?" Bryan said, pulling up near my school. I didn't answer him, instead I looked out the window. He sighed before getting out of the car and coming over to my side to open the door for me. I picked up my bag and got out the car once he opened the door for me. When I got out, he closed the door before hugging me and whispering, "Be good today because I won't be there to comfort you when you have your little moment. If I'm too late to pick you up, take the bus and get off five stops after this, then make a turn and go into the apartment." He gave me a small key holder with two keys on it. "Here's the key to go inside. I have work, so I'll try to pick you up when I get out, but if there's traffic, I'll text you to come home. Remember, 11D is the apartment number." He said before hugging me again, so I hugged him back whispering, "Thank you." He nodded before going back into the car. I waved as he drove away.

Instantly when I got into the building, Peppy was there with Jace. She was looking at me with a small smile before saying, "I'm sorry for going off on you the other day. No hard feelings right?" I smiled and hugged her before saying, "None at all." I need as much as friends that I can get to be there for me at school when Bryan's not here to comfort me.

At lunch, Peppy kept talking about Jace none stop. I'm just glad that she's not mad at me anymore because she's my best friend and I can't function knowing that she's mad at me.

"Jace is so cute! Plus, he has a twin brother named Jakey. You should go out with him so we can double date sometime." She told me before taking a bite of her pizza. I shook my head no and replied, "Nah, I'm not really looking for a relationship right now." Or ever!

She looked at me with a smirk and said, "Oh yeah...you still got your eyes on Derrick. Don't worry, baby, you can have him anytime you want, after all he likes you a lot and you know that. You're so lucky! You look sexy as fuck and you got guys drooling over you!" I sighed before taking a small bite of my burger and leaving it near my mouth thinking, "Yeah, and that's a bad thing."

I didn't notice that I zoned out until Peppy snapped her fingers in front of my face, bringing me back into reality. "Huh?" I said, looking at her as she was looking kinda pissed. "You wasn't even listening to me." She said before crossing her arms with a huff.

"Oh, sorry babes. I was just thinking." I said, giving her a small smile. She smiled and guessed, "About Derrick?!" Wow, she got hyped up real quick.

"Uh...no." I said before going into my bag, looking for my pills. Bryan told me to take them at lunchtime. She rolled her eyes with a smile before taking another bite of her pizza.
