Keisha's P.o.v
On Monday, after school was done, I was proud of myself. I didn't have any moments so far, I take my pills without any problem, and I'm not so nervous about Oliver that much. I have to say, Bryan really helped me get through.
I started to walk to the train station with Amanda, the only girl in our school that lives on West Fountain, where all the rich kids live. I found out that Bryan's friend, Miracle, lives there, which means that she's loaded. Well she is a therapist, so that explains that.
"Hey, Amanda." I said, smiling at her. She looked at me and smiled back. Amanda may be white and rich, but she's not snobby, instead she's really friendly and got just as much as friends as I do, so basically she's popular, too. "Hey, Kie! Nice to see you after these days! Everyone was worried that you dropped out or something. I mean, girl, you didn't come for like 4 days straight, what do you expect us to think?" She said before hugging me tightly. I hugged her back and said, "Well, I was...uh...sick, so I couldn't really go to school." In a way, I was/am sick...mentally.
She nodded in understanding before saying, "These boys in this school is crazy! Can you believe that Zachary Evans tried to pair me up with that cute jawn, Michey cause he's also white. I swear--that boy--Zachary done got his head screwed wrong!" We both laughed at this before crossing the street.
"Yeah, but everyone in the school knows that Zachary got a major crush on you." I said, thinking about how on valentine's day he gave her Jordans and a mp3 player that she could've gotten herself with her rich ass parents. That was a major fail.
"I know..." She said before smiling at the ground and continuing to walk. I looked at her from the side, smiling. "I see someone likes a certain someone else." I teased making her jump and fix her gaze on me, blushing hard. "N-no way! H-h-he wouldn't...nah people gonna talk! I like what we have now." She said, still blushing.
"Wow...you just gone do him like that?" I said before laughing. She shrugged and said, "Well, he can't expect much outta me, he already got far enough to get my facebook."
"Damn. My nigga, Zachary, got your facebook? He's boutta get the girl this time!" I cheered making her laugh and reply, "You crazy!" We both burst into laugher at this. Wow, she really cool, but I knew that before.
"So, it doesn't bother you that you walk alone to the train every day to go home?" I asked, feeling bad for a kid. She shrugged and replied, "Nah, I'm not legal to drive yet, so I'm gooch. I just need to stick to the train for the time being and then see what happens when I turn 16." I nodded at this, realizing that she is gonna get that car cause her parents are rich. They may not be as cool as she is, but they rich and they love her to death.
"How's your baby brother?" I asked, remembering about Sebastian. She sighed and said, "That nigga be keeping me up late at night with them annoying ass cries! Though...overall, we got no problem. I just hope that mom eventually tells pops that she cheated on him that one time with that sexy light skinned Jamaican, so Sebastian might not be his child." She looked to the ground, kinda sad.
"Nah, don't worry sista, I'm sure that by the time Sebastian like 15 and a light skinned jawn, your mama's gonna have some explaining to do." She laughed hard at this before saying, "Yeah, he got that complexion that I'm trying to get with a tan. Not too dark, not too light, not even brown." Yeah, it can be hard to get a complexion like mines.
"You mean my complexion?" I asked, eyeing my arm before showing her. "You have a sexy ass complexion and body! Girl, you know I want all-la dat!" She said, motioning to my body with her hand to prove her point.
