Chaper 27

Keisha's P.o.v

I chose not to go to school today because I can't deal with the stress of leaving Hayvan with someone besides Bryan. Casidy still came anyways, so I had extra help taking care of her.

"Hey, what you watching?" Casidy said as she entered the livingroom with Hayvan on her arms. I smiled and said, "Everybody hates Chris. I know that it's kind of old and stuff, but I still think it's funny, especially Rochelle. She acts just like my mama. I miss her." Damn, now I'm in my bag. I feel like crying. I haven't seen mama in 7 months already, and I really miss her so much. Her hugs, lectures and presence.

"Yeah, and Julius acts like my dad, but I'm not complaining." She said with a laugh, causing me to laugh along. Wow, it's nice to have some company around here to keep me occupied when Bryan leaves for work and it's just Hayvan and I.

After a few more episodes of the show, Hayvan woke up, but she was so focused on looking at my face. Her eyes were light brown, so I know that she's not sad or mad, so she must just be chilling and enjoying my sexy ass face.

There was a knock on the door, causing me to be instantly put into freak out mode. Oh fuck!

I ran to the door and looked into the seeker hole in curiosity. I saw Miracle there, looking classy as always. I looked at Casidy who was looking at me in confusion. Bryan didn't say anything about Miracle coming, so why is she here? I opened the door, causing her to greet and hug me. "Hey, Miracle. What brings you here?" I asked as I looked over at Casidy who was minding her own business which was Hayvan.

"Oh, I just wanted to stop by to see Bryan, but I'm surprised to see you. Shouldn't you be at school?" She asked me, but why does she want to see Bryan?

"Yeah, but I miss my baby girl too much, so I took a day off just to be with her. Why do you want to see Bryan, anyways?" I asked, crocking my eyebrow in curiosity. She laughed a little before saying, "We need to discuss some grown up things. You shouldn't be taking days off of school like it's work. School is important. I'm going to call Bryan tomorrow and I don't want him telling me that you didn't go to school tomorrow because of missing Hayvan." I laughed and nodded my head in understanding.

Finally, Casidy got up with Hayvan on her right arms and introduced herself. "Hi, my name is Casidy Falls, and I'm Hayvan's babysitter."

"Nice to meet you, dear. Wow, you look awfully young, how old are you." She said with a laugh, causing Casidy to laugh lightly before saying, "Thank you, but I'm 24, so basically Bryan's age. I'm not that young anymore."

"I don't remember sending you." Miracle said, getting real deep in memory. "Yeah, that's because Brenda is my mom's best friend, and I needed a job. She knew this, so she recommended this place to me and I see that it was the best choice." Miracle said before smiling at Hayvan who smiled back at her as if smiles were contagious.

"Oh alright. I need to go now, but Keisha could you be a dear and tell Bryan to call me once he gets home because my office is packed today and this was my only time to actually see him." She told me, causing me to nod before she said bye to Casidy and then she was gone.

Casidy wrinkled her face and stated, "Looks like someone has a dirty diaper. Let's get you to the changing area!" I laughed at her as she looked at me, clearly embarrassed. "Sorry, I have to get used to having someone other than a baby around over here while I'm working. Sorry if I act too embarrassing to be around from here on out." She told me before laughing shyly.

"Don't worry, I won't tell anyone about your inner perkiness. Seems like Hayvan brings it out of everyone." I said referring to the list of people who were being interviewed to be Hayvan's babysitter. I still can't believe that some of those people aren't in jail or something.
