Keisha's P.o.v
When I woke up, the first thing I saw was Bryan struggling to build the baby's crib. I cleared my throat making him look at me before nervously smiling and dropping his hammer. "G-good morning, mommy." He said before nervously laughing.
I laughed and said, "I see that you got this all figured out like you told me last night." This nigga is going to have the guts to tell me not to worry and how he got it all under control when he's obviously been here all night.
"Well damn, mamas." He said before picking up his hammer and knocking on the screw. "Shit didn't come with an instruction manual?" I asked, getting off my bed to go and use the bathroom. Obviously he doesn't know what he's doing since he's hammering a screw.
"Nah, I don't need that shit. I got my own brains and my own confidence to help me build this." He replied with a big confident smile on his face. Yeah, coming from the guy that hammers a screw. I chuckled before mumbling, "Yeah, let's see how far that confidence takes you."

After Bryan finally gave up, he recommended going to IHOP, and I couldn't refuse the offer, so I agreed.
"Welcome to IHOP, I'm your host Melanie and I'll be serving you." The waitress said with a big smile implanted on her face. I smiled and replied, "I'll have the—"
"And what will the gentleman be having?" She asked rolling her eyes and looking over at Bryan. What the fuck? Did a bitch just cut me off? Bryan was too busy looking at his menu to notice. I pointed out, "Excuse me, bitch, but obviously you can see that he's not ready, so let me fucking order before I get your smelly ass fired!" Her eyes widened before she rolled her eyes and retorted, "Not my fault that you got knocked up so young and now you're a mommy. Now, I'll be back with a new waiter." I gasped as I saw her give a shocked Bryan her phone number on a paper slip before walking away and swaying her hips.
"Did you just hear what this bitc—"
"Just ignore it, okay Keisha. We came here to have a good time, so don't let people like her get you mad." He told me with a wide smile before looking back onto his menu. Ugh, he's right.
I rolled my eyes and said, "Fine, but you are going to throw that piece of shit in the trash where it belongs, right?" He ripped the piece of paper she gave him in pieces before setting it on the table and putting his hands up before saying, "Like it never happened." I nodded in contentment before going onto my phone.
I saw a text from Jolene saying, "This nigga is so lucky that you don't want me to break this stupid ass relationship up." I laughed and replied, "Thanks, I'm lucky to have you back on my side."
I looked at Bryan who was on his phone. I smiled and continued the message, "And I'm most happy to have Bryan on my side as well," before sending it with a satisfied smile on my face.

After we ate and left, we were driving home. To be honest, I'm kind of nervous raising a baby and giving birth. I heard that it compares to pushing a watermelon through a hole. I can't do that shit! Plus, raising a kid when I can barely take care of myself sounds really bad.
I looked at Bryan and said, "I'm not going to survive one day with this baby." He didn't say anything, all he did was pull up by our apartment and park the car. He got out of the car and closed the door. I widened my mouth before getting out of the car and slamming the door.
"What the fuck is your prob—"
"You're going to be a great mother. Your child is going to love you in a way that no one else can. Once you have that bundle of love, your depression might go away or just lower so much that you can barely notice it. When you see that little kid grow up, depending on your amount of love that it uses up to survive, you'll feel like you accomplished a lot. Don't think about the bad of raising this child, think about the good because it's too late to back out now. What we have to worry about is protecting this baby from people that might harm him or her, like their father or someone who doesn't like them. I don't really know if Oliver is going to harm them, but he just might do so. Jolene texted me that Oliver abused her yesterday and still claimed to love her, so imagine what he might do to this poor innocent child. Look, your job as a parent and mother is to protect, support, love, raise, be there and care for this sweet child." Bryan said before kissing my forehead and leading me into the apartment. I blushed and said, "Thank you for that, I really needed it." He sighed with a smile and said, "No problem, mamas." Ugh, I'm so lucky to have him in my life.
