Raisha never thought that she will feel lifeless, after making her choice to leave her love. It was like she had no heart or soul left in her body, while she couldn't even hear her breathings which had slowed down abruptly since the moment, Aayush left her or particularly since the second, she asked him to part ways. Isn't it so ironic, that the feeling of love is always accompanied by the feeling of pain, because the two go hand in hand?

She collected her all stuff, and taking a good look around her small cottage, she started to make her way out to only see Aayush standing there with a scotch bottle in his hand. She stared at him with hurt, as she recalled his promise to not touch alcohol, which he made to her two years back, when he got a serious hangover, after he drank like a maniac at his show's success bash.

"You are still here? I thought you left already? Anyways I was going out for a few drinks, come I will drop you wherever you want?" He stated in a serious tone, but Raisha could absolutely feel his shattered voice and heart even in that composed tone.

"And before you ask that how I went back on my words to not see your face, then let me tell you, I am doing this for Uncle and Aunty so that their souls won't be hurt that I didn't even dropped you safely!" He added, and held her wrist, dragging her along with him while her tears cascaded down her eyes, as she felt his pain through his tight hold on her wrist.

"Don't do this to yourself!" She mumbled lowly, as he pushed her in the front passenger seat, and opened the bottle cap, to drink. She held his wrist, but freeing her hold from his, he took long strides towards his side. Raisha kept her head down as her guilt overpowered her mind and heart, seeing him in this condition. She knew that he was doing this to hurt himself as well as her. It was his way of dealing their separation.

Aayush ignited the engine, and sped forwards, keeping his one hand on the steering wheel, as he started to sip from the other.

"You can't break your promise!" Raisha reminded him before he could even let the hot liquid touch his lips. She held his wrist again, and he jerked her hand away. "Aayush, please don't do this. I know you are hurt, but don't drink. It's not good for your health, please!" She pestered again holding his hand, with her voice cracking with each word. She knew they both were hurting, but she couldn't let him drink, knowing well that he can't handle the effects of it.

"I will do as I please, you are no one to tell me what I should do or not. Understood?" He replied back angrily, and rudely pushing her hand away. He switched on the music system in full volume, while she sat rigid at her place, with teary eyes, stealing glances at him now and again.
