A frown etched on her forehead, with a disinterested look, plastered on her face, Raisha entered their bedroom after serving breakfast to her brother; who was finally out of his messy situation.
Do we need to guess who would have helped him other than his playful brother in law?
The furious brother was yelling to be let out, was finally splashed with three buckets of cold water; which in return pulled him out of his stuck place, but the later due to the sudden shock, fell on the ground glaring ragefully at the other man who was having the time of his life; at the expense of his shivering and sneezing brother in law.
While to control the tsunami that might have blasted the entire set up, the sandwiched female who loved her husband as well as her brother, had to finally step in luring her brother away by the smell of her hand made pancakes and bacon which were his favorite.
And now once she has managed to calm her angry brother, Instantly on her first step in the room, she was greeted by the sight of her shirtless husband's back.
He was busy having a video call, and from what she assumed it to be, it was their son who was literally yelling at his father for being a prick to his uncle and also for being a careless brute about his health.
Sighing she made her way near him, to only hear him groan in frustration. Running his fingers through his hair; giving a glare to the phone screen where her little champ Aakarsh was glaring at his father with his deep intense eyes, he replied pissed, "By any means are you my father The Mighty Aakarsh Khandelwal?"
She knew the world war of sarcasms will begin, if she let them talk for even one more second, thus she snatched the phone immediately from Aayush's hand, who gave her a meanie look.
"Aakarsh, you go to school. I will give him his medicine. You worry about your class tests for now. Don't stress up because of your Papa. I will manage him". She instructed wanting her son to relax, and finally seeing the assuring look of his mother, Aakarsh nodded with a small smile on his lips, which he unexpectedly inherited from his father.
He might not have their genes, but he was their symbol of love from top to bottom in ways which one can't even think of. After all, not everything is about blood, sometimes relationships are made through the strings of heart; and Aakarsh was that chord of Aayush and Raisha's heart, that had bounded them even when they were apart.
"Brute, stop troubling people there and do your work properly and come soon. Or else I can't guarantee, how much damage Aari will do!" Aakarsh warned Aayush, before hanging up on his face once again, while the father scowled being trolled by his son once again.
"Seriously, who is the father here?" Aayush asked to no one in particular raising his hands in the air.
Raisha shaked her head at him, and walking upto their bed, she started to select his shirt from the pile that was lying on the bed ; while whistling, he back hugged her kissing her temples.
"I love you!" He whispered near her ears making her smile. He didn't need reasons, to say the word while there has been a time, when all of them thought that will he ever even confess his feelings?
"I love you, too!" She turned around in his arms, and it didn't take him to be a genius to see through her pained face.
"Thinking about what that arse said back there?"
Cupping his face with her both palms, she stroked them lightly; tiptoeing she kissed his forehead, right in the center; clearly voicing her deep affection for him with a small peck. It was the way she wished him, all the wellness, happiness, and prosperity of the world in return only asking for a small place inside his heart.
