Mehendi (Henna) CeremonyThe successful marriage is not when you can live in peace with your wife, but when you can't live in peace without her._ Yasir Qadhi.
Red! The colour of anger, shock, surprise and disbelief surrounded the three women who stood at the enterance taking in the unbelievable sight in front of their once neatly decorated living room. Chocolate wrappers thrown all around the place, cushions lying on the ground, while paper balls were spread around the room. Empty coke can followed next, with Raisha's most hated plate of bacteria(Maggi) discarded carelessly on the coffe table.
The three men stood up on hearing the shrilling voice of the women, scooting closer to the other. Raj was nudging Jay and Yuvraj for help; his eyes fixated on Nivedita who was throwing daggers at him.
"Did a cyclone run over here or what?" Isha inquired angrily, shooting a deathly glare at Yuvraj who looked away.
Ignoring them, Raisha rushed towards the cribs to find her daughter's wide awake, giggling on amongst themselves. As her face came in view, the triplets raised their hand forward as if asking her to pick them up.
But she had to see what blunder has their father committed now. So kissing their small hands assuring then that she will get back to them, she turned her attention to her brother who was giving her apologetic looks.
"Aakarsh. Aariya!!" She called, knowing full well that only her kids were going to be honest. She doesn't have to be told that something happened in her absence. Their faces were enough to tell her that they were hiding the blunder committed by Aayush.
Hearing their mothers voice, Aakarsh, Aariya and Samrat peeped their heads out from the behind of the sofa set where they hid as soon as they heard the car tyres, screeching outside the mansion gates.
The three kids lowered their heads and came to stood in front of their mothers, who eyed their messy state. Aariya and Samrat's mouth were smashed with chocolate, while Aakarsh was a dirt mess.
"Sammy!!" Isha called appalled. Her death glare went to Yuvraj who hid behind Raj instantly, shocking Jay and Raj but making Nivedita smirk.
"You monkey, I left my son with you so that you can take care of him and when I return I find my once beautiful son turned into a chocolate pastry shop!" She yelled frustrated.
"What can I do if he doesn't listen?" Yuvraj did the mistake of arguing which riled up Isha more.
"So you will just let him eat so many chocolates. Do you want our son to become tootless?" She retorted glaring at him as if she will break his head any moment. Jay stifled his giggle at the thought of Samrat being tootless. Raj and Nivedita rolled their eyes.
"Isha....
"Don't argue with me, Yuvraj Sharma. Take him to the washroom now. Got it? But wait where is the genius of all?" Isha ordered and realizing her brother missing, she inquired. Her eyes shifted to Raisha who was giving a stern look to her father, Jay and Aakarsh.
"Raj, where is Aayush?" Nivedita demanded in her angry tone.
"These people are kids, but you were the bigger one and you are a doctor for heavens sake. How can I you allow your grandkids to eat so many sweets, and junk stuff together." Nivedita added crossing her arms over her chest.
Raj gave her a sheepish smile and joked, "I am smaller than them."
"Dad, you better not joke to change the topic because I want to know where is your precious son in law?" Raisha demanded sternly making Raj sigh.
