With a scared look on his face, hiding behind Raisha, Aayush came out of his room to greet his parents who were seated on the lavish sofa set having a talk with Raj and Nivedita. From afar, he could clearly make out that his father was planning his dooms day in his head.
Ohh, how I wish for him to have a memory loss in the moment!
He was pulling Raisha through her forearms continuously making her roll her eyes at him. She can't believe that he was afraid of getting a good tongue lash from their parents. It was a rare sight to see him terrified of something, but she was glad that he was experiencing every moment from love to chidings with his parents which he missed for years.
"Seriously, you are afraid of him while Aakarsh faces you like Khali even when he purposely breaks our neighbours window."Raisha teased him in low tone, as they walked slowly towards the living room.
The couples still didn't noticed him, while Aayush was annoyed at the thought of being scolded.
"Very funny, Raish. I am Aakarsh's father, while the man in front of you is my father. And if you remember then there is earth and universe difference between your husband and father in law." He retorted back making her bit her lip in amusement at his explaination.
Who will say that he was the father of five kids?
The couples finally noticed them as Raisha pulled Aayush beside her making him shoot her a glare.
"Mom. Dad." With a smile, acknowledging them, she moved forth to touch their feet, while they blessed her warmly.
Vidya embraced her, rambing on how she missed chatting with her, while Viraj filled on her all the details of the arguements he had with Vidya. She listened to them patiently, chiding them like a daughter, when necessary while they didn't mind being scolded from her.
Raj, Nivedita and Aayush watched the trio with a smile plastered on their lips. It seemed to them, like the couple didn't remembered anything else apart from their Raisha.
"Seems, like they forgot about the whole fiasco. I love you, Sunshine. You saved me again." The proud husband whispered to himself, but seems like he said it way too fast, because the next second Viraj's eyes went to him and then at his cast.
His soft expression, turned into a dark one and Aayush tried to give him a weak smile.
"Do you need an invitation to meet your parents, son?" Viraj began in a stern tone, while Vidya and Raisha watched Aayush's poker face. Raisha rushed towards him; holding his hand, she helped him.Giving them a sheepish smile, he bent down to touch their feet, to only wince as his parents pulled his ears from both sides making him wince.
"Ahhhhh...... Mom. Dad really you are going to pull my ears in front of my wife." He cribbed trying to wriggle out of their hold.
"I will pull your ears even in front of Aakarsh's wife and no one can stop me." Vidya added, making him pout.
"And you came here to enjoy the wedding or do your monkey jumps to break your leg." Viraj chided twisting his ear, making him fake cry so that he would be left alone.
"Raishaaaa......," He cried the only name who would come to his rescue but she was standing there laughing with her parents.
"Traitor!" He remarked giving her a glare.
