Love is patient, love is kind. It doesn't envy, it doesn't boast, it is not proud._ Unknown
Pregnant pause! Lurked around the entire wedding venue after the groom's shrilling voice followed by a curse roared in the hall. Eyes transfixed on Jay, Amaya gaped at him while he was busy eyeing in one corner where his Jeej's was standing holding the orange juice in his hand while Yuvraj stood in front of him shooting daggers in his best friend's way for spilling his juice on his shoes.
"What happened?" Aakarsh who was sitting nearby, listening songs on his head phones, inquired seeing the place loom in silence.
"Your Papa happened!"
"Your Maama happened!"
Yuvraj and Aayush replied simultaneously, looking at each other with a glare.
They gave apologetic looks to the people around, but as soon as Aayush's eyes found Raisha's, he received a stern look from her. He didn't have to run his mind like a soccer ball, because he knew that look meant trouble.
Yeah, curse and see the burn!
Out of nowhere the silence of the hall broke, when two kids out of nowhere came singing the song, "Wolfieeeeeee Papaaaaaaaaa!!!!!"
"Witchieeeeeeeeee Mummaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!"
Aariya and Samrat who came running in Aayush's and Yuvraj's direction, kept on squealing the lines as if founding their own aamusement in their silly game which emerged a day before yesterday after hearing their father and mother bicker like small kids.
Aayush looked at Isha who hid behind Raisha embarrassed like never before, while the occupants in the room who couldn't hold up anymore, ended up giggling which instantly turned into hysterical laughter as all the guests knew who the kids belong to. But not making it obvious, they pretended to resume their chats back leaving the family members all flustered.
As Aariya approached Aayush, he clasped his hand on her mouth in the process disturbing her golden brown locks of hair from her shoulder. She looked ready to cry, giving her father an angry look.
"Keep quiet my mother. You will ruin my image." He ordered her irritated that she combined his name with a wolf. But as he saw her furious eyes, realisation hit him that he just called for another trouble on his head.
Giving him an angry glare, she stomped her foot on his right feet, making him pull his hand back.
"Bad Papaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!" She commented making a pout on her lips, and then eyeing her brother, she strolled to him, jumping on his lap as he patted her.
"Bhai, Papa ru..ii.ned my hair." She spoke stuttering on the word ruined, making Aakarsh chuckle.
"Drama queen!!" Aayush commented eyeing them pissed.
"Afterall, she is daughter of the drama king!" Aakarsh retorted with his mischievous glint annoying his father more.
Chuckling he got back to his sister who was trying to get the headphones from his pocket, while he set her hair straight making her giggle. Kissing her forehead, he gave her the headphones, and the siblings were back to their own world of songs.
Seriously, who brought her in this world?
I have zero value in front of my son.
Making a face, Aayush shifted his attention to Jay first who was sending such pointed looks towards him, that he was sure, he was planning to run away from the stage to beat him up. Amaya was surrounded by her family, who were spending their last moments with her, which gave enough time to Jay now to glare at Aayush.
