The pain was so bad that he had to shut his eyes.

He began hearing whispers all among the audience but he had no idea what they'd be whispering about.

He opened one eye and the pain was bearable enough to play his music. A few minutes into the music, he heard the audience scream and he shot his head up. He saw all of his bandmates high in the air, on their chairs, holding onto their instruments.

He looked down, realizing that he was the only one that wasn't floating.

He saw a stand that was floating nearby. He jumped to grab it before it flew too high only to fly upwards instead.

There he was - in front of a whole audience, with children floating high in the air, himself included, and everyone staring at the white-haired- bright blue-eyed kid

Camden stared in horror - never has he ever wanted this much attention. Not to also mention that he has no idea how he was able to do any of this. He just wanted this to be a dream, but he pinched his arm and felt a tear in his eye when he felt the pain.

He averted his eyes to the floor, floating back down to the ground, and began running backstage. He opened the back door, feeling his eyes burn once again to remind him that this wasn't just a dream.

"Wow...this sure happened quickly," Sapphire said, still staring at the floating musicians.

Phoenix just nodded, unable to speak as he was astounded about the whole situation himself.

"Guys! We can't just let Camden run away!" Dawn whispered fiercely, not wanting the public to hear.

"She's right, we better act quickly," Phoenix said, getting up, leading towards the backstage.

The other two got up and they went backstage, getting a few strange looks from what was left of the audience.

They went backstage and saw that the door to the back of the building was wide open.

They went through the door frame and they looked frantically around for the slightest hint of where the fourth kid went. Sapphire turned her head and the exact same time that Camden had turned the corner to go in the direction of the forest.

"Guys, I think he's heading towards the forest!" Sapphire whispered.

They ran along the road from which they had come.

Camden snuck into a forest of some sort that was located outside of the city.

He saw a tree that was tall but had enough branches to climb. He wiped his eyes to get rid of any tears that blocked his vision and began to climb up the tree.

He didn't have enough energy to climb to the top and stayed on a branch that was blocked from the view of the ground.

He laid down, bringing his knees to his chest, and as he laid there, he silently let out some more tears.

The trio eventually found the forest, where the band geek ran off to.

"Ugh, how are we supposed to find him?" Phoenix said, dropping his arms to his sides, as he looked around the many trees.

"Wait for a second - Dawn, can't you read minds?" Sapphire asked.

Dawn quickly twisted her head in the direction of Sapphire, "Yeah...but what could we use that for?" she asked.

"Well, in this situation, I'm pretty darn sure that your friend would be overthinking about everything. Maybe if you tried to read his mind, we could find him somewhere in the forest. It's not like this forest is large." Sapphire suggested, shrugging her shoulders.

Dawn's confused expression was replaced with a small smile, as she went forward. After a few minutes, Dawn stopped suddenly,

"Why did this have to happen? People were all gasping at me! Also, I'm pretty sure I'm the reason this all happened but I didn't try to do anything."

She heard Camden's voice ring through her head.

"This way," Dawn said, pointing to their tree.

Camden sat up, feeling calmer than before. He got up from the branch to stretch his legs. But he was surprised when he heard a voice ring throughout the forest.

"Camden?" Dawn shouted, almost sure that Camden had to be around here.

She sat dead silent and smiled when she heard, "Dawn?" from one of the trees nearby.

Camden stumbled as he climbed down the tree. He saw Dawn running up to him, and she engulfed him in a hug. Camden felt tears filling his eyes, but he managed to keep them back.

"You can cry, you know," she said, patting his back.

Camden shook his head, not wanting to make more of a mess tonight.

"Listen, Cam, you are not a bad person. You are special, please don't think that you are just average. You see, we are kids that possess powers. We each have a main power and a secondary power. We are like you in a sort of way." Dawn tried explaining.

"My powers are water, and stopping time," Sapphire said, showing how her eyes lit up purple and her hair went straight while holding a perfect little ball of water.

Camden managed to smile a little bit, knowing that he wasn't an outcast anymore.

Phoenix walked up to Camden and threw his arm on his shoulder and leaned against him, "Well, since you already know this little peach over here, I'll introduce the rest of us." he said, giving him a smile,

"This little nerd over here is Sapphire. She will throw punches if you act stupid, so be careful. And my name is Phoenix." he introduced, pointing to Sapphire, and then himself.

"Well. I guess it is my turn to introduce myself." Camden mumbled, "My name is Camden, and judging by what happened at the performance, I have the power of...air? And then maybe my side power would be flying?" he said, unsure of himself.

They all just nodded, "I guess so." said Sapphire.

"...I play a lot of instruments, and...um...well I don't really have many friends," he explained staring at the large tree.

"Hey, Cam - can I call you Cam? - want to see a good view?" Sapphire said. Camden just nodded as he followed them to the tree where he had his breakdown a few minutes prior

Within a few minutes, the other three got up to the top while Camden was there in a few seconds.

"You have an advantage," Phoenix mumbled, reaching the top.

They all just sat there, admiring the beauty of the city lights.

Then suddenly, everything went dark.
