Once Camden managed to get everyone to their hiding spot, they decided to have a brief inspection of what their new home would look like.
To put it plainly, it was just an abandoned shed. It had a roof that needed to be repaired, shattered windows, and had cobwebs everywhere. It was truly a fixer-upper, but Camden was sure that they could fix this up.
"...and why exactly did you bring us to this dump?" Phoenix asked, getting elbowed in the ribs by Tesla.
"Well, I thought that if we used our powers, we could fix this 'dump' up." Camden shrugged, going inside the shed.
Dawn followed him inside, and she began working on the roof making sure that it was safe and wouldn't crash on top of them by wrapping the rest of the roof with thick roots, having smaller roots fill up the cracks made by the larger ones.
Camden swept the floor using a strong air current and tried to move some of the things that were inside the shed. He found a collection of rusty tools, a broken lawnmower, a large shelf completely filled with knick-knacks, and a dusty suitcase. He couldn't really see what else there was in there due to the lack of light. He went outside the shed to see what everyone had been doing.
He found Dawn working on the wooden base of the shed, fixing up all the holes and broken pieces. He saw Phoenix talking with Tesla, as they were discussing something. He saw Sapphire working on a way to have a plumbing system. Camden decided to go up to Phoenix and Tesla and figure out what they were talking about.
"Hm, so you could be the one that has heat to the shed. And I could be the one with electricity?" Tesla asked.
Phoenix shrugged, "I guess so. I don't know how I can add heat to it without burning the entire thing down."
Tesla stared off into the nothingness, trying to think of a way to make the shed have heat since it was getting colder." How about we make a fireplace?" she suggested.
Phoenix just nodded, "How should we get all the materials?" he asked.
Tesla gave him a blank face, "Well, we are going to need some stone to make the main part of it, Dawn could supply some wood, and you could keep the fire tended by a spark." she explained.
"Good idea, how should we get the stone for the base?" Phoenix asked, looking around the forest.
This is when Camden decided to join the conversation.
"When flying around, I found a little river that had rocks around the beds. We could use that, and then Phoenix could use fire to mend the stones together." Camden said, pointing the direction to where it was.
Tesla and Phoenix looked at each other, before nodding in agreement, "Sounds like a great idea to us." Tesla said.
Camden gave them a simple smile, "Phoenix, Sapph was working on plumbing, so you could possibly help with that, and then I assume that you are going to work on electricity, right? Once the shed has electricity, I can clean out the shed a bit more." Camden explained, before lightly hovering over the air and levitating through the forest.
It was dangerous when he flew over the tops of the trees, in plain view of everyone. It was wonderful that no one saw him just mindlessly flying throughout the air.
Once he had found the river, he picked up a few rocks that he thought would be suitable for a fireplace. He made sure to pick some rocks that looked about the same color. He had his arms full of rocks as he went back to the shed.
When he returned, he found that the shed now had plumbing and electricity.
He was now certain that before the night will come, they will successfully have a place to call home. He went through the shed and got to see more things that they could potentially use. Apart from the things that he had found earlier, there was a small wooden cupboard with bowls and plates, a metal case with some silverware, rolls of tape, spare light bulbs, window cleaner, and a few empty beer bottles.
"Well, some of this looks useful," Camden mumbled, making his way through the shed. He picked up the dishes and silverware and looked around the shed.
"I saw that there was plumbing, but where exactly is it?" he asked himself.
After a few minutes of searching, he spotted a little knob near the shelf. When he turned the knob, he saw water come out of a faucet that he must've not seen. He smiled as he washed the silverware so that they were useable.
To be honest, he didn't really think that he would be one with powers. While washing, he reminisced over his past life - a band nerd who played video games all night. Although he had played games that had something to do with magic, it was extremely different when you get to experience it in real life.
That brought him to the memory of his band concert, when he floated high in the air, as all the other kids did so too. His smile turned to a little frown, as he remembered all the looks of shock and horror that everyone there had.
His classmates that had hugged onto their instruments for dear life, his director's shaking hands as he tried to do something about the sudden accident, and his mother's reaction. She wasn't exactly terrified or shocked, nor was she calm and collected.
Now thinking of his mother, he wondered whether or not she was missing him. She knew that he had powers, right? She must have, or else she would've acted more frightened at the concert. He was stuck in his deep thoughts when he was poked in the shoulder.
"You okay, buddy?" Dawn asked.
Camden just nodded, a little shaken by his thoughts as he finished cleaning.

Ceren was determined to find the flying boy.
The boy who was flying looked familiar somehow, but Ceren shook it off. After running from his house he wandered around, not wanting to get lost searching for the kids. He also remembered his hunter team. He surely would be a dead man if they figured out what he did.
He didn't want to be a killer, but it wasn't exactly his choice. He certainly won't be killed if he ends up finding and destroying one of the kids that have powers.
He had so much he wanted to do. He wanted to become a teacher, have a family, and live the rest of his life. In order to do that, however, he had to kill one of them.
He stared at his feet as he made his way through the city.
His mission has started.
