Sapphire was the first one to see Dawn come back into the forest.
"Where were you at?" she asked, making Phoenix's head turn to see who Sapphire was talking to.
"Well, I went to the library, found a guy who invited me to his concert this evening, and I read a book that I really didn't get much out of," Dawn replied, climbing up the tree.
"Oh, what book did you read?" Sapphire asked.
"Really? Did you not catch the part where she talked to a guy who has a concert tonight? What is that about?" Phoenix dramatically said.
"...anyway, the book talked about multiple things. It talked about mythical histories, like the Cyclops and fairies," Dawn said ignoring Phoenix's question.
"We appreciate the fact you went out to research about our situation, but that doesn't really help anything," Sapphire said, staring out to the city.
There was a pause before Sapphire asked again, "What time is your friend's performance?"
Dawn swung her legs off of the branch and stared at the ground. "I can't remember right now," she mumbled.
"Do we have dressy clothes for when we go?" Phoenix asked, sitting near Dawn.
"I don't think we need to dress up any for this sort of thing," Sapphire answered.
"You might want to put on some pants though since it is supposed to get cold tonight and you are wearing shorts." Dawn gestured towards Phoenix.
Phoenix rolled his eyes, "I'm fine, but just to make you happy I will."
Dawn and Sapphire giggled as they watched Phoenix go down the tree to change.

Meanwhile, Camden was thinking about his new friend that he had made at the library.
She was nice, especially considering they had only just met.
He smiled when he relived the memory of her agreeing to come to his concert. He really hoped that he didn't come off as overbearing, but he was so excited for someone, anyone, to show interest in the things that he enjoyed.
He doesn't sit by anyone at lunch, he doesn't study with anyone else, and surely he doesn't even talk to anyone. He'd much rather play the blues on a harmonica or level up his character in the game that he's currently playing rather than socialize.
He looked at his closet and laid out his outfit for tonight's concert. He decided on a plaid shirt with some pants that he thought looked dressy enough as he put his dress shoes next to the rest of the outfit.
He saw himself in the mirror.
His hair, which was normally black, was looking a bit grayer near the roots and his eyes were more aqua in color in comparison to his dark green eyes. He brushed it off, thinking that it was merely just not enough sleep.

"Have you figured out when his concert is, Dawn?" Phoenix said, brushing off his black-colored t-shirt.
Dawn's head instantly shot up, " OH MY GOD - IT STARTS AT 6!" she shouted.
Phoenix looked at his watch, "We got 6 minutes - we'd better hurry." he said, walking towards the start of the forest.

It was two minutes before the show was about to start and Camden was sitting in his chair, nervous as could be.
He was nervous not only because he has a solo but he also is anticipating seeing whether or not Dawn would come to the concert. He saw something go and sit near the back, but he was busy reading over his music.
He played the saxophone, well, in this band at least. He plays in two others, apart from this one - he plays trumpet and clarinet in those.
He saw the lights dim slightly and the stage lights suddenly flicked on, giving a bright glow. He softly smiled and straightened his back, ready to perform.
The lights dimmed. The trio was still tired from running all the way from the forest to the city to get there.
"See the guy in the first chair in the saxophones? That's my friend, Camden." Dawn explained to her friends, pointing at the black-haired kid, looking very proper and sharp.
The band began playing music, and the trio was amazing. Never have they heard something so..powerful before. After they had finished their song, everyone stood up, clapping and whistling loudly. It truly was a masterpiece.
They were starting the next song when Camden's eyesight began to get more intense like he could see everything. His eyes slightly burned, and he just shook his head, focusing on his music.
Suddenly, he felt his eyes burn terribly.
