MEN ONLY SECTION:

For if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church? - 1 Timothy 3:5

As the foundation of the home, you as a man must be organised. You need to be aware of everything, keeping the family in check and on time. You need to make sure that you make schedules and timetables for the family to stay organised.

How will you manage a whole family if you cannot manage yourself? Do you have timetables? Schedules? A bed time and a waking up time?

Today, you will keep everything tidy. Starting from your room, your home, your work sheets or school work because a clean, organised man will never accept confusion, untidiness and laziness. This is an amazing attribute to have as a groom-to-be, an unmarried or a single man.

(Prayer)

Lord God, I pray that you help me! I am a man who has yet a lot to learn. I need your guidance and reminder to continue to stay organised. To stay focused in everything I do because I want to be settled in whatever situation I'm in. Help me remain focus today, tidy and clean because this is all about discipline and I know you can help me. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

WOMEN ONLY SECTION:

"The wise woman builds her house,
but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." - Proverbs 14:1

Although God assigned two completely different roles to a man and a woman, taking care of the house has always been the role of both man and woman. However, in different aspects.

As a woman, you must take care of the house - the laundry, the cooking, the cleaning and the decoration. I know, it sounds a lot. The husband will help but this has been given to you as a priority because you are the mother and as the father provides, you decorate.

When your husband gives you the groceries, you will give him a meal. When he gives you a house, you will give him a home. When he gives, you multiply. In the same way, you might work but it is the man's priority to work and provide and whether you help or not, he MUST do so.

So what to do? Why not clean the house, why not build a habit of sweeping the floor, washing the dishes, doing laundry, ironing and most importantly, cooking. From today, you must begin to develop these habits and enjoy doing so because a great mother knows how to work with her hands. Most importantly, she does so gladly, rejoicing for God's glory.

God almighty, I pray for a clean mind-set. I pray that I begin to think like a woman of God who loves to work. Who loves to clean and decorate with her hands. I want to be a woman who accepts challenges and endures much.
Help me become a woman who is organised and tidy to one day inspire my children who will then glorify the King of Kings. I want to be a blessing to my husband and a great gift for the mission that you have planned for us. It starts today, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
