DREAMING isn't WINNING
Everyday you will add a new principle from the previous chapter.
I want to share on success. I want to share on chasing your dreams and the passions that God has set in your heart. After all, it's knowing your purpose that motivates you to strive for the impossible.

I have been given multiples of talents, tens of gifts and I have so much passion to succeed. This is to let you know in simple terms that everything I get to do is all part of who God says I am. There is nothing that I do that I have personally developed, crafted or endured by my own strength.
I never knew that I would play the piano, play football/soccer at a higher level, write books, talk at events, coach teams, personally develop individuals in the gym or even simply write poetry or music.
I was just an ordinary guy with one simple dream of becoming an Athlete, one ordinary guy prepared to work and sacrifice my time to become an idol. I worshiped sport, I gave my everything to having my face on television. I mean, I got there. But is that what God intended?
Okay, let me ask you a question.
Do you have a dream?
Everyone has some sort of idea to where they want to be in the future, what they enjoy doing and how they will climb up the ladder to better themselves. Have you ever asked God what His thoughts are on your plans? The problem with me was, I thought my plans were enough, they were good enough so all I had to do was ask God to help me achieve it.
'Deny yourself' is a very powerful command. Jesus was saying, give yourself up for me. He needs you to surrender all your mistakes, your past, your sins and that's all very true. However, He expressed it in that way to enthusise the future. You must be ready to give up your passions, your desires or even your dreams. You might be a fisherman, you might might be a tax collector or maybe a rich young man with the women, treasures and honor but Jesus is offering you the riches of eternity.

Being a Christian isn't just some free ticket to heaven. It's a life laid down for the Gospel, you're ready for anything. Whatever the will of the father is for your life you let go of everything and you go after it with everything that you are while knowing He's with you through every persecution, mocking and discomfort.
What's your calling? What are your gifts? What do you want to be remembered for? Most importantly, are you sure it's God's will for your life?
Not every gift is made for you to master in this world. Just because you're a good coach, it does not mean God wants you to coach the greatest team in the world, it simply means that there's a reason to why you have been given such a great attribute. Maybe God gave you that skill for your children or your spouse because she isn't so knowledgeable in that area of her life. Maybe it was a gift given so that you can help your friends or so that you could - sacrifice. God can give you a gift so that one day, you can give it up for Him like the disciples. Or God could give you that gift so that He can test your faith in Him like the time when He asked Abraham to slaughter Isaac.

What if you know God's will for your life? Don't you need to know the keys to success? There are 5 keys to success that will guarantee success in whatever area God has called you to excel in.
1. GOD
You're not getting what God wants for you if you don't want God. In other words, you must stay in communion with the king, so that He can direct you every step of the way.
2. INVEST YOUR TIME.
It's simple, the more time you spend doing it, the more advanced, the more opportunities that open up and the more knowledgeable you become in that field. Balance your time with God but glorify Him through your training, late nights and early mornings ready to serve but also to work hard. Your worry isn't on people, who cares about people at the gym, outside, in the parking lot or in your neighborhood. You NEED to fulfill God's plan for your life.
3. INVEST YOUR MONEY.
The love of money is the route to all evil so give it generously in church. Give money to coaches, trainers, managers or for a gym membership because nothing comes free. When you sow, you will see what God will bless you with in return. So stop searching for shortcuts, easy way outs because if you have money, you need to sow in charities, churches and bless other ministries to help others come to Christ. God will lift you up when you think of others.
4. YOU NEED TO REST.
It's good to work hard but if you are willing to go all out, you need to understand the importance of rest. Resting is what God wants for you too and that's why the Bible mentions God's rest. In fact, the sabbath should be a day of rest which is the 7th day of the week - originally Saturday. When you rest, you are obeying God's commandment because overworking can also be the devil's way to destroy you physically and mentally. Rest, even when you think you need to train, nothing happens overnight because people will always judge you or hate on you but failure is part of success just as much as 'haters' are. It's a package that comes as one, accept it all and embrace the process.
5.) GOING BIG.
B) : Books (I highly recommend reading, especially books that are related to whatever area you want to succeed in, all the answers lie on the shelf from someone who was once in your position)
I) : Individuals (Set yourself around individuals that will better you, those smarter than you and striving to succeed in life. Losers drag you down & winners lift you up, simple)
G) : Goals (Write down your goals if you have to. Set goals for the next day and tackle the next day, don't worry about the other weeks to come because everyday is a challenge all on it's own)
