- How is your giving?
- Are you becoming a better man or woman of God by the minute?

Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends. - John 15:13

There is no greater love. Are you willing to die for your neighbour?

MOST people will say yes but they don't understand what Jesus is trying to get drilled into us. You see, I'm willing to die but I'm not willing to pray for them. I'm willing to die but I'm not willing to talk to them unless they talk to me first.

I'm willing to die but I'm not willing to spend time with them because of my reputation. I'm willing to die but I won't spend time on the phone, online or in town with them. I will die but they're from a different background.

I'm willing to die but I can't forgive them. I'm willing to die but we're too different. I'm willing to die but they're too attractive for the Gospel of Christ to be preached to them. I'm willing to die but they're not approachable.

In all honesty. Do they sound like valid excuses?

SINCE THE BEGINNING

Since day one, it has been all about love. You're waking up earlier out of love, you're giving, reading and appreciating others out of the love that you have for God. Well, God's love looks like Golgotha. Look at the cross.

A being so indescribable (Revelation 4) with all his glory. Would send his Son into a world like ours. To be beaten to a level no human being can endure, then to be nailed to splintered wood. Why?

Because of Love.

Can you love on others? Just go out today and love on people. Just hug, kiss, hold or appreciate these beautiful beings who have no idea how much they mean to God. Just love on these souls who were worth the beating, spitting and humiliation of the living God.

Jesus came for souls. We are all messed up people in need of a saviour. Go love on people. Love them and tell them about the author of Love who is giving you the ability to love in the first place.

By your fruits. They will know you by your fruits. Your fruits are what you produce but will your fruits blossom? Your actions will reveal if you have been in the secret place or not.

(Meditate on these verses)

1 John 4:7-8 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. Anyone who does not love does not know God, because God is love.

John 13:34-35 - A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another."

Hebrews 13:1-25 - Let brotherly love continue. Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. Remember those who are in prison, as though in prison with them, and those who are mistreated, since you also are in the body. Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous. Keep your life free from love of money, and be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you."

REMEMBER:

You will never know who you are giving a helping hand to. Your children could encounter ANGELS!

How your children will speak, act or interact with strangers will be down to you. If they see how you cuss in traffic, yell at pedestrians and talk about others as they pass; you will have to give an account to God to why your child spoke, reacted and intervened with such disrespect.

You have the opportunity to avoid hypocrisy and because in all honesty, how many times did you read in scripture about Jesus rebuking the hypocrites? Love people, black or white, short or tall, similar or different. Make someone's day today because we're about to dig really deep in the upcoming days. Let this become WHO you are. Not what you do.

God has prepared people that you must encounter and the children you may have. So you need to be aware that, this is not about you but for those who you will take care of, feed and carefully monitor under your wings some day.

Change your today.
Change their tomorrow.
