YOURS, NOW THEIRS
Congratulations. It has been 7 days already and now it's the beginning of a new week! You are being formed into the very man or woman that God has called you to be. Keep going and lead by example!
Here are a few verses. Pray that God will help you become these very next words.

Proverbs 21:26
Matthew 6:3-4
Proverbs 22:9
Deuteronomy 16:17
Luke 3:11
2 Corinthians 9:6 - "Now this I say, he who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.
Mark 12:41-44 - "And He sat down opposite the treasury, and began observing how the people were putting money into the treasury; and many rich people were putting in large sums. A poor widow came and put in two small copper coins, which amount to a cent. Calling His disciples to Him, He said to them, 'Truly I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the contributors to the treasury; for they all put in out of their surplus, but she, out of her poverty, put in all she owned, all she had to live on.'"

SOWING & REAPING
The Bible has been about sowing and reaping since the beginning of time. God's always expected offerings, He told us that whatever we sow, we will also reap. It's a way of showing how much you honour God with the small 10 percent that you give. If you're giving, give cheerfully because God is not really accepting the gift but the heart that gives it. Do you not know that your blessings will come from your cheerful giving? God only asks for 10 percent. If you make $10 a week, he's asking for $1. How worthy is this God to you?
Jesus' favourite place in the temple was next to the pottery, where people will sow their seeds with whatever they had. Why? Because what they put in, revealed their hearts. So, yes, God is VERY keen on offerings. He loves to watch His children give with a huge smile on their face.
GIVING TO THE POOR
God has always told us to give to those in need. You were once poor, far from the richest of God. John 3:16 tells us that God gave you his beloved Son, so that if you believed in Him, you were granted 'EVERLASTING' life. A free gift of salvation. Then he tells us (Mathew 10:8) to give what we have been freely recieved, physically and spiritually.
People are also spiritually in need, they are in distress, depressed and pressured with the troubles of life. They need your spiritual strength, understanding and compassion. Give them the word of God, let them know they are loved, they will be forgiven and freed from all their bondage.
WHAT TO DO TODAY?
Today, you can give. You don't have to but you GET to. You will never get this opportunity when you die. This is the only opportunity you get to impact people's lives, FOREVER. Give what you don't need to your siblings or friends.
Give money to the poor, if you come out of the store, you can leave more than a few changes to the beggar resting outside. Give what you would like to receive.
Bless the hairdresser or shopkeeper radically. Bless them with twice as much and tell them Jesus loves you! You can give the woman or man at the takeaway. You can give to the woman or man at the restaurant and let them know, a great King appreciates their generosity and hardwork.
Give in church, give with a smile. Give because you want to, not because you have to. I promise you, there will be a better feeling to walk around without anything to give than to hold on to temporary possessions that don't mean a thing in comparison to the gifts you will receive in heaven.
(Prayer)
You are faithful, The Most High! You are glorious, beautiful, amazing, you are worthy to be praised. You are King, you are God of all Gods. You are Alpha and Omega. You are the beginning and the end. What can I give to you JUST for being who you are? And much more, what can I give to you, for what you have done for me?
I humble myself and I ask you to help me become a cheerful giver who loves to give. Who loves to impact lives, leaving your fingerprint. God I want to give because of you, not for attention. I give my heart to you today, that you possess my very thoughts, mind, will and emotions. I give myself away, in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
Remember:
The greatest gift you can give to your children, is your personality. It's your being. They will watch, monitor and mirror what you portrait. So, by being a giver, all they will do is give. Don't be a hypocrite by teaching one thing and doing the other. Children become what they see. Be like Jesus. Give. And watch the next generation follow.
Be blessed in Jesus' name!
