Chapter 7

(Toni POV)

I'm laying in the hotel room miserable. I've been laying here all day. I miss Sierra so much. What happened at the station was devastating. Even my sisters are taking it hard. We leave back to go home tomorrow. I just wish Sierra was here.

Flashback to the police station

"The only option for her is to go to the foster home or get adopted by someone." Officer Rodriguez said.

I looked at Tamar who had her head in her hands. I looked at Sierra who looked like she was about to break down.

"T-Toni" she said in a shaky voice. "Yes" I answered.

"Can, can you please take me with you" she cried "I can't be on my own I can't go to a foster home Toni please" she sobbed and my heart ached. I was speechless I didn't know what to say. "Tamar please don't let me go back" she cried holding on to Tamar.

I couldn't hold back the tears. "I'm sorry baby. I can't.. I wouldn't be able to take care of you" I said sympathetically.

"B-but you have k-kids. You take care of t-them. Why not me? You have money all I need is food a-and somewhere to sleep. I could sleep in the living room please. Please Toni. Please Tamar" she cried hysterically. I couldn't watch I had to leave I could literally feel my heart breaking.

(Sierra POV)

Toni walked out crying. I made Toni Braxton cry. I'm such a pain.

"Sierra" Tamar said trying her hardest not to cry. I walked up to her and gave her a big hug and just cried. I don't think anyone knows how hard my life is. How much I want to die to get out of this hell hole.

"It's okay Sierra. Your going to be okay." Tamar comforted me and I shook my head.
"No I'm not" I cried. "I'll never be okay" I said and walked out.

(Towanda POV) Back to the hotel

Toni and Tamar are really taking this Sierra thing hard. I guess they really fell in love with her. I did too but to them it's extremely hard.

"Toni you and Tamar haven't eaten anything all day. Let's go get something to eat" I said.

"It's fine I'm not hungry" Toni said.

"Tamar what about you? Your always hungry" I asked Tamar who shook her head.

This is crazy. Tamar never turns down food.

"Guys y'all are making me depressed" Trina jumped in. "Why don't you just adopt her?" Traci said.

"It's not that simple Traci" Toni said. "I work all the time. I'm always on tour. I barely have time for my kids." She said.

"Same thing with me" Tamar said.

"But look at it this way. We all can help out." Trina mentioned.

"We all live in different states though" said Tamar.

"That doesn't matter. You and Toni live in L.A. Some days she spend time at Toni house and some days she spend time at Tamar's house. Toni if you go on tour she'll go to Tamar. Tamar if you go on tour she'll go to Toni. And if you both go on tour. She will take a flight to Atlanta and spend time with me and Towanda. She can also fly out to Washington to spend time with Traci." Trina said walking over to Toni and Tamar.

"We will make it work. We can give this little girl a life she's always wanted." Trina consoled them.

It took them a while to take in everything Trina said.

"Okay" Toni said.

"I think it'll work." Traci said

"Let's give it a try" I pitched in.

We all looked at Tamar.

"Okay we can try" she said and we all smiled.

"So first thing tomorrow morning we go back to the police station and fill out the papers" I said and everyone nodded.

"It's getting late and we still haven't eaten anything. Let's order something" i said.

"Sure what do you guys want. I'll call" Traci said.

We all decided on Chinese food. Traci called and soon enough the food had arrived.

We all ate and watched a movie. Toni and Tamar was snuggled up sleep. It was me Trina and Traci up.

"Do you really think this will work" I asked.

"I hope so." Trina said.

We continued the Movie and Soon enough we all fell asleep.

(Toni POV)

The next morning we all got up excited and got ready to head to the police station. As soon as we got there, we sprinted inside. This time all of us went in.

"Hi! We're here to see officer Rodriguez" I said excitedly.

The lady checked something on her computer.

"Oh he's free you can just go right in" she said.

"Thank you" I smiled.

We walked into the office where we was greeted by officer Rodriguez.

"Hello ladies nice to see you again. How can I help you today?" He asked.

"We wanted to adopt Sierra. We thought it through and realized that this is what would be best." Tamar said and officer Rodriguez frowned.

"W-what's wrong?" I asked

"Sierra was placed in a foster home already in Colorado." He said.
