Chapter 29

(Tamar's POV)

Sierra has been in a little funk all day. Her Attitude went away but she was just really quiet. I need Doctor Toni.

I went to my phone and texted Toni to see if she can come over. She replied in a hot second and said she'll be over here soon.

I walked back over to the couch where Logan and Sierra was Sitting. Sierra looked at me an gave me a small smile then her eyes turned back to the tv.

I sighed and sat down and waited for Toni to come. After a few minutes Toni texted me she was outside.

I went to open the door and it was her and the boys. "Hey boys" I said. "Hi auntie Tamar" diezel said denim just waved.

"He's been in a mood all day" Toni said rolling her eyes. "Oh really? Cause that one over there is acting the same way" I said.

"Really? Well it's probably a lot more to why she's acting like that. He got mad because he wanted waffles for breakfast not grits" Toni said and I laughed. Denim looked at me like 'really?'

"I'm sorry sweetie" I laughed and he stomped over to where Sierra was.

"How you been diezel" I asked as I finally closed the door, then we all walked to the couch.

"Good" he said. We sat down on the couch.

"Hey Sierra" diezel said

"Hi niecey pooh" Toni said.

"Hi guys" she said giving a fake smile. "Are you okay?" Toni asked.

She looked at Toni and smiled. "I'm fine" she said. Toni looked at me and I shrugged my shoulders.

"Well why don't you all go in your room" I said to Sierra. "Okay" she said. The boys got up including Logan and walked out. "Oh yeah boys go say hi to your grandmama" Toni said.

"Wait Logan you didn't even say hi to me" Toni said. Logan ran to Toni and gave her a hug. "Okay that's better" she said and he then ran back to sierras room.

"So how you been" she asked me.

"Toni I'm stressed out to capacity" I said rubbing my temples. "Aw Tay. Why?" She asked.

"I don't even know. I've just been feeling very stressed lately" I said. "I think I know why" she said.

"Why"

"Your trying your best to take care of Sierra. She's gone through so much and you just want to be there for her you wanna make all her problems disappear " she said.

"Your right" I said. "I'm always right" she smirked.

"Lies"

"Thats the truth" she laughed.

"But seriously Tay. Don't stress yourself out over this. Sierra is going to be fine" she said and I smiled.

"Thanks"

(Sierras POV)

" so what's up with you" denim asked me.

"Nothing just having a bad day" I said. "Same here" he said and I laughed. "I heard your having a bad day because you wanted waffles for breakfast" I said.

"Come on. Waffles are amazing who wouldn't be mad" he said and I laughed.

Diezel was on the floor playing with Logan. "But is there a certain thing that happened?" He asked me.

"I don't really wanna go into details" I said. "Aw come on I'll go in details about my waffles" he said and I laughed.

"I'm pretty sure that's a big difference" I said and he laughed.

"But I've just been having dreams about.. My real parents coming back to get me" I said and he seemed confused.

"Right. I forgot you don't know the full details" I said.

"Basically they use to abuse me.. Physically and verbally" I said and his mouth fell open.

"So um.." I stared, trying not to cry. I can't cry in front of denim.

He grabbed my hand. "It's okay. I know I may seem like an A hole most of the time but deep down I really care about you like a sister" he said and a tear fell down my cheek.

"Sisi crying" Logan said to diezel. Logan then ran out the room.

"Mommy sisi crying!!" I heard him yell. Oh gosh.

I quickly wiped my tears. Tamar and Toni both came in. "You okay?" Tamar asked.

"Yes me and denim was just talking" I said and they both looked and seen our hands holding.

We quickly snatched them away.

"Seriously we was talking" denim said. "About what?" Toni asked.

"My parents" I said looking down. Toni and Tamar looked at each other and nodded understandingly.

They then left and closed the door and took Logan with them. "Wow that was easy" denim said. "I know" I laughed.

Diezel has now joined us on the bed and was into the convo.

I finished explaining everything. And I mean EVERYTHING. They both looked sad now and i felt bad.

"Guys don't look like that your gonna kill me" I said. "I'm just shocked" diezel said and denim nodded.

"I'm fine now though. Thanks to your mom and Tamar" I said.

"I just can't imagine" denim said and I gave him a soft smile.

"I'm so sorry" he added. "It's okay. It over now. I'm with a beautiful family that I truly love and I couldn't me more blessed and happier." I smiled.
