Chapter 91

(Tamar's POV)

My heart sank to my stomach and everything felt numb.

"What?" Toni asked.

"Her appendicitis burst" he repeated.

No this can't be happening.

"Is she gonna be okay?" Traci asked.

The doctor just looked at us which made me feel extremely nervous.

"She's gonna have to get surgery. If not, the appendix can rupture and cause an abscess or systemic infection" he said.

I didn't know what the heck he was talking about all I wanted to know was if she was going to be okay.

"Okay but once she get the surgery is she going to be okay?" Toni asked.

"I can't promise you that but I can tell you that the doctors here are amazing and they are going to do the best they can" he said.

Omg.

"When can we see her?" Traci asked.

"You can see her now if you'd like" he said.

"Thanks doctor" Toni said.

I was speechless. I couldn't believe what was happening.

Toni and Traci both looked at me and I know they could tell how I was feeling.

I was feeling like I was about to pass out. It started to get really hot, and I was feeling dizzy.

I started fanning myself.

"Are you okay" Traci asked me.

Toni felt my forehead. "She's freaking out. Tamar you gotta calm down" she said.

All I could hear was just a 'beep' sound. Like everything was shut off.

I could see their lips moving but I can't hear a word they are saying. I then felt me being dragged by Toni to a chair.

Everything was blurry. I put my head in my hands to try to calm down.

Flashbacks of Sierra came to my mind.

Flashback

"Mommy you are crazy" Sierra laughed as we just finished leaving mc Donald's. I had to curse the lady out because she didn't give me enough ice.

"That was a serious moment. She got mad because I asked for more ice" I said laughing.

Sierra started to crack up. Her laugh and smile brings so much joy to my life.

...

"It's hurts" Sierra cried as she held her stomach. We had just come from the mall and sierras stomach started to hurt again.

"Okay baby lay down" I said.

I stroked her hair and stared at her. Whenever she cries my heart breaks.

End of flashbacks.

I looked up and seen Sierra standing in front of me with tears in her eyes.

"Am I gonna die?" She asked.

"What? No baby you're not gonna die" I said as I tried to grab her hand but my hand just went right through hers.

I looked around in confusion. I then turned and seen myself, Toni and Traci standing with the doctor.

The doctor shook his head left to right and soon the vision of me with the doctor, I fell to my knees and cried.
