Chapter 62

(Sierras POV)

We made it home and we ended up picking denim up early also. They all were in there watching a movie. I couldn't watch tv or anything so what I did all day was just sit and read. Which isn't pretty bad hence the fact that I love reading.

"Whatcha doing" Tamar said as she came in my room.

"Well the only thing that I can do" I said.

"I don't understand why I'm being punished" I said and she walked over to me.

"You really don't understand?" She asked and I nodded my head.

"Like I was only defending myself. And plus she hit me first" I explained.

"She wouldn't have hit you if you would have walked away or told the teacher" she said and I sighed.

"I guess so" I shrugged my shoulders.

"Why didn't you tell me the first time you were getting bullied" she asked.

"I told you. Because I was scared of what'll happen" I said.

"That doesn't matter Sierra you're always suppose to tell me if someone's bothering you" she said.

"Okay sorry" I said. "It's fine. Just remember next time" she said.

Throughout the whole day I stayed in my room. Toni and the boys had left so I just decided to get ready for bed and went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up and remembered I was suspended. Tamar had told Sophie what happened she wasn't happy. Yesterday she called to ask if I can come to her house for the day and Tamar said yes.

I got out of bed to go into the kitchen. I seen Tamar sitting down with her hand on her forehead and on her phone.

"Hi mommy" I said sitting next to her. "Hey baby" she said without looking to me with a frustrating look on her face.

"Are you okay" I asked and she finally looked at me with blood shot eyes.

"What's wrong" I asked getting worriedly.

"I just gotta call from the hospital" she said and my heart already stopped.

"Ok?" I said indicating for her to keep going.

She scratched her head. "Mommy you're scaring me" I said.

"Sophie.." She said. "What about Sophie" I asked my heart beating extremely fast.

"She was in an accident" she said.

What.

"What kind of accident" I asked.

"A bad one. She.." She started.

"She what?" I said with my eyes getting watery.

"She passed" she said and it's like the whole world stopped.

Sophie is not dead!

"No" I said starting to cry. "No she's not mommy" I said sobbing.

"I'm sorry baby" she said hugging me.

"No she's not dead. That's not fair" I cried.

"I just got her back"

(Tamar's POV)

Early this morning I got a call saying that Sophie was in a car accident. The driver was drunk and he ended up loosing control of the car and they rolled off the bridge into the water.

"I just got her back" Sierra said and my heart broke.

I just continued to rub her back. She cried and cried.

"It's not fair" she cried. "I know baby" I said. I couldn't believe this.

Sierras father already lied to her that Sophie was dead and now she actually is.

"Why does everything happen to me" she asked sobbing.

She pulled from the hug.

"My parents were horrible to me. They lied to me" she cried. "Everyone has lied to me. You guys took me in but now everywhere I go someone is attacking me. I-im being bullied in school. And now this. Sophie is gone. She's really gone" she cried harder.

"I was suppose to see her today!"

"God hates me" she cried. I tried my best to stay strong.

"Sierra God does not hate you" I said and she nodded her head. "Yes he does" she cried.

She started to sob extremely hard.

"Sierra" I said. I lifted her head and moved her hair out of her face along with wiping some tears.

"It's okay" I started and she shook her head.

"Listen to me, it's okay" I said. Her eyes were filled with sadness.

"I just wanted a normal life" she said. I pulled her into a hug again.

"We all do baby" I said.

"Can I just go with her" she said.

"What are you talking about?" I asked.

"I just wanna go" she cried. I finally understood what she meant.

"Sierra no"

"Please mommy it's too hard. I try to be strong but I can't" she said.

"Life is meant to be hard, it's always been that way, will be that way and continue being that way. Life is literally what you make of it Sierra. You can be and do anything you want . There's no reason to want to end life, life is precious, pain will always be felt , it demands to be felt You don't stick around and you'll never know of what is to come in God's future I know you've been through a lot baby but your stronger than you think. God has a plan for you. I promise you that" I said.

Those words inspired myself. She started to calm down.

"I love you so much" I said. She wiped her tears.

"I love you more" she said. I hugged her again and it lasted for like 5 minuets.

A couple minutes later Sierra went to go lay down. She didn't want to eat anything she just wanted to go lay down.

I told her she can watch tv. No need to punish her anymore. This is the worse punishment she could have possibly gotten.

I called Toni to tell her what happened and she said she'll be here in a couple of minutes. I also called mommy and the rest of my sisters. They were all gonna come down for the funeral.

Poor Sierra.

This is going to be a long week.
