Chapter 57

(Sierras POV)

We arrived back at Tamar's house and we got out the car. I had my arms crossed as I walked inside. I went towards my room.

"Sierra come back" Tamar said. I sighed then turned around and went towards the living room. "Sit. We're gonna wait for Toni to come back from picking up denim then we'll talk" she said.

I sat down on the couch and diezel did the same. Toni arrived in less then 5 minutes.

"Hey guys how was school" she said walking in denim behind her. "It was good mom" diezel said. I stayed quiet.

"What about you Sierra" she asked me. I just stared at the floor.

"That's what I wanna talk about. I picked them up and they were both mad" Tamar said.

"I'm not mad" diezel said. I rolled my eyes.

Toni and denim sat down. "Okay diezel so what happened" Toni asked him.

"I don't know she just started acting mad" he said. He is so in denial.

"Sierra what happened" Tamar asked me. I took a deep breath.

"Diezel said he was gonna walk me to class but his friend came and he left me and I ended up being late" I said and Toni looked at diezel with a mean glare.

"What happened to walking her?" Toni asked. "I'm sorry" he said.

Toni sighed. "Did you get in trouble?" Tamar asked.

"No everyone was just looking at me and the teacher was really mean" I said.

"Did anything else happen?" Toni asked. I thought about princess but I didn't say anything.

"No" I said shaking my head, Tamar looked at me funny. "Okay. Diezel I'm disappointed in you" Toni said and diezel looked down.

I started to feel bad. "It's okay I wouldn't wanna walk someone to class all day I would wanna be with my friends" I said defending him.

"That's still not okay Sierra it was his responsibility to walk you because you were new" Toni said.

Well i tried.

"I'm glad I'm not in middle school anymore" denim said laughing but no one laughed with him. Instead Toni glared at him too.

"Oh bad time sorry" he said.

"Don't do this again diezel. Wait til Sierra is fully comfortable with the school" Toni said.

"How long is that gonna take" he asked. "I don't know as long as she needs" Toni said and diezel rolled his eyes.

Im causing a lot of trouble.

"That's not fair" he said. "It's very fair" Toni said.

"But-"

"End of discussion diezel" Toni said. Dang.

Diezel got up and went outside. "I'll talk to him" denim said.

Usually it's the other way around.

I just sat very uncomfortable.

"Are you sure that's the only thing that happened in school. You seem like something else happened" Tamar said.

"I'm sure" I lied. "Okay" Tamar said sounding unsure.

(Tamar's POV)

I feel like Sierra isn't telling me something. I'm gonna find out, can't hide nothing from me.

"I um have homework to do can I go?" Sierra asked and I nodded my head. She got up and left.

"I think something else happened" I said to Toni. "What do you think happened" she asked.
