Chapter 31

(Sierras POV)

My feelings were hurt when Tamar yelled at me I just wasn't expecting it. The boys came in to cheer me up then there was a knock.

Toni came in. "Hey you okay?" She asked me and I nodded my head yes.

"Tamar didn't mean to yell at you she was really upset she doesn't like when people bully other people" she explained. "I know she didn't mean it" I said.

"Just caught me off guard" I added and Toni nodded.

"I know. Tamar was only trying to help" she said and I smiled. I got up and headed to the door. "I'll go talk to her" I said. I walked out and went into the living room.

Tamar was sitting there with her hand on her head.

I walked over to her and sat down. She looked at me and sighed. "I'm sorry for yelling at you. It came out wrong and I didn't mean no harm from it" she said. "It's okay I get that you was just trying to look out for me" I said.

"I do need to start standing up for myself. Especially now that I'm about to start school" I admitted. "Just gotta learn to speak up baby cakes" she said and I smiled.

"I'll work on it" I said. I gave her a hug and then pulled away. "Can you get Toni. I need to talk to her" she said. "Did y'all get in an argument?" I asked.

"Something like that" she said and I laughed. I got up and went back into my room.

Toni was talking to the boys. "Tamar needs you" I said to Toni. She took a breath then walked out.

"Uh oh were they arguing" diezel asked. "I think so" I whispered.

"We should go snoop" denim said. "Boy no" I sassed. "Why not" he asked. "I think we should" diezel said. "Diezel!" I yelled.

"Your not suppose to agree with this bobble head" I said and denim rolled his eyes. "Come on Sierra let's just listen" diezel said. "But we have Logan what if he makes noises" I said.

"He won't let's just go" denim said.

"Ugh okay" I said and we walked in the hall and hid behind the wall.

(Tamar's POV)

Toni came back from the room and sat down.
I don't know why but I was feeling really dizzy.

"Okay I apologize for what I said. I didn't mean that at all. I know you defend your kids I was just" I stopped cause I felt tears coming. I put my head in my hand. Toni scooted closer to me and wrapped her arms around me.

"It's okay. I understand your stressed, this is a very hard job for anybody." Toni said. I pulled away and wiped my tears.

"It's just hard Toni like extremely hard. I don't think I'm cut out for this" I cried.

"We all sometimes doubt ourselves but you got this Tamar. Your a strong woman" she said.

"I just want her to be okay. I just want her to be happy and I feel like I'm failing right now" I said.

"Your not failing Tamar" she said "yes I am. Every time she cries I failed. Every time she gets scared I've failed!" I was uber emotional right now. Toni wrapped her arms around me again.
